Jean is very professional and did an awesome job on our Safari. He knew many details that made the trip extremely memorable.
Dear DeWayne Thank you for you 5 stars review its very important for the company , and hope we meet again for another Safaris here in East Africa . Best Regards
This is a fantastic day trip. Our guide Jean Claude was so knowledgeable and passionate about safari. He led us to so many amazing animals including elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, hippos etc and let us spend lots of time with them. Aside from the animals, being in Akagera Park was stunning and serene. The car is spacious, comfortable, can off-road easily, and the pop-up top is so much fun to stand up in. Jean Claude made the day so easy: finding the animals, navigating challenging driving, and offering fascinating context. I can't recommend this enough.
Wonderful day trip to Akagera. Able to see lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, warthogs, gazelles, and a wide array of birds. Jean Claude was knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Would recommend!
Fantastic experience with very good guide. A memory for life. I can strongly recommend this. A super day with everything. Try this!
It was an impressive experience! We spent two nights in Akagera National Park. Our guide was very experienced and we saw many animals. Even a hunting leopard in action, like he grabbed an impala. Very sympathetic guide with a lot of knowledge about the animals and their behavior. We can recommend it to anyone.
We absolutely loved our safari and our driver Jean Claude. He was super kind, extremely sweet with our small baby, helped us see the leopard in the dark (!!), had excellent recommendations for lunch, itinerary, and stops along the way from Kigali. We enjoyed our trip and would recommend it in a heartbeat!
It was an outstanding experience, the views were amazing and the wildlife was so diverse, our guide was also very helpful and informative.
It has been one of the best tours of my life, very fun and unique. We have seen many animals and unique places. The staff has been on top of everything and they have taken care of absolutely everything, we just enjoyed it. It is an unforgettable experience. Thank you very much guys for everything and I hope to see you soon.
Hello! Me a Ugandan and my Italian boyfriend had our holidayd in Rwanda and took a trip to Akagera national park with our guide Claude. He picked us from our hotel at 5:30am as he had told us and very excellent at driving. We conversed throughout our journey answering to each of our questions and also letting us know things we didn't ask.At the park he hard sharp eyes detecting animals from far and drove us closer to see. On returning we stopped at the local market and helped us moved around and looked for what we wanted,he is so friendly and easy going. At the park we had a good wild drive while searching for animals and we saw Rhinos, giraffe, buffalo, zebras, elephant, kobs and monkeys but we missed to see the lions and the leopard. It was a great trip and the experience was amazing. Thanks
My visit to Akagera National Park with "Journey Africa Wild" was nothing short of amazing. Our tour guide Jean Claude is the best. He made sure he was at the apartment for pick up as early as 5:30 AM as agreed. Throughout the journey, he was patient and willing to answer many of our numerous questions related to Rwanda. We discussed different subjects ranging from Geography to local and East African politics, to investment opportunities in Rwanda, to quality of life in Rwanda you name it. Through his answers, you could tell he was really smart and demonstrated true professionalism throughout the Journey. While at the park, even though it was a rainy day, and the animals were mostly in hiding, he was still very patient and tried to explore alternative routes and constantly communicated with other guards to ensure we got to see as many animals as possible. Lastly, on our way back, we communicated how expensive it is to get foodstuffs in the Kigali city center. He made sure to help us get to a local market where we easily got the foodstuff we needed at a very affordable price. He also helped communicate with the local merchants, as we struggled to understand the local dialect. Thanks, Jean Claude and the Journey Africa wild for making our trip memorable.
