Nei tour invernali (da novembre ad aprile) visitiamo il National Elk Refuge appena a nord della città di Jackson. Ci sono migliaia di alci sul rifugio e i lupi locali seguono il loro preferito giù dalle montagne. Questo è il momento migliore per vedere i lupi a Jackson Hole. Il rifugio è anche la casa invernale della mandria di pecore cornute di Jackson. Durante la loro routine di dicembre gli arieti si danno una bella botta in testa per conquistare il diritto di accoppiarsi con le pecore.

We had an amazing time. My main wish was to see a bear and we saw one within eight feet of us. We also got to see lots of elk, deer and birds. We saw one moose as well. The guide was super nice and knowledgeable. She answered all our questions about wildlife patiently. She was also funny.
I'm glad we could find you and your family a bear. It is by no means guaranteed, but we are happy to focus on bear areas if requested. Just to clarify for other readers, you were in the vehicle and the bear came close by. I would not like people to think that is the norm with bear sightings. We try and maintain a safe, respectful distance from all wildlife, which is 100 yards from bears and wolves, but sometimes when you are in a vehicle on a crowded, narrow, forested road the animal will decide to pass close to you. Thanks for appreciating your good fortune, being calm, quiet and letting the bear just go about its foraging.
Great experience! Brendan was our tour guide for the morning. He was very knowledgeable, and knew right where to go for the best spots! We saw Elk, Bison, Moose, and a Bald Eagle! We saw some great overlook sites too! Our family loved the experience. Brendan was also kind and understanding given my knee problems, and went slow and was very kind about it. 10/10 would recommend!

Our Guide did a great job finding wild life. He was very knowledgeable about the area geography, history and the wildlife. We were able to see Bison, Moose, Elk, Deer, Pronghorn, Coyotes, Otters etc. We had a great time. Highly recommend Mikki.

We thoroughly enjoyed our guide, Rachel. She was the right mix of knowledge, fun and enthusiasm. We saw moose, black and grizzly bear, antelope, buffalo. It was such a fun excursion. Highly recommend!

Liam was very personable and professional. Knew where to take us to see the wildlife we were interested in. We saw: -a grizzly (Miracle) - a black bear - a moose -many bison - a fox - pronghorn - elk

We had an amazing experience, Liam was incredibly organized and made us feel very welcome by greeting us with “Marhaba” in his emails, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our guide, Rachel, was absolutely wonderful. She took us to beautiful hidden spots and trails that are not known to everyone, which made the tour feel very unique and special. Her knowledge of the area and geology was impressive, and she shared so many useful insights and tips that helped us make the most of our limited time exploring the region.
