We had Una as a guide, that woman knows her history and has a great sense of humour. We would not have gotten anywhere without the skillful driving of our driver Inia (aka SpongeBob). Both made it a great start to our day.
Thank you so much to Maria, Bella, Saddam, Tia, Knox and all the staff involved in this experience for making it so amazing! Saddam and Tia were so knowledgeable about the local area and history and we were hanging on their every word! We even drove by Saddam’s village in the 4WD and he pointed out his house to us! Loved being so involved in the local customs, ceremonies and traditions of the locals and villages in Sigatoka and we are so grateful for the opportunity. Staff had us laughing the whole time, absolutely love the Fijian sense of humour! Thank you so much to all involved, was a must do for us and so glad we did! Vinaka vakalevu! The Twins. (Christy and Tiffany)
Bula Christy & Tiffany, Vinaka vakalevu for your beautiful review—it was an absolute pleasure having "The Twins" join us on the Off Road Cave Safari! We'll be sure to pass your kind words on to Maria, Bella, Saddam, Tia, Knox and the rest of our team. They all take enormous pride in showcasing the Sigatoka Valley and sharing the history, culture and traditions that have been passed down through generations. We're especially pleased you enjoyed hearing Saddam and Tia's stories. Having guides who were born and raised in the valley means they aren't simply telling history—they're sharing their own lives, families and communities with our guests. Driving past Saddam's village and seeing his home is a wonderful reminder that this is a real, living community, not a staged tourist attraction. It also brings us great joy to know you embraced the local customs, ceremonies and, of course, the Fijian sense of humour! Sharing plenty of laughs along the way is just as important to us as sharing our history, and we're delighted those moments became part of your experience. Thank you once again for choosing the Off Road Cave Safari and for recommending us to future travellers. We hope to welcome "The Twins" back to the Heart & Soul of Fiji for another unforgettable adventure. Vinaka Vakalevu, Jay Whyte Owner/operator Off Road Cave Safari
My family and I had such a great time on this experience! Moses was a great driver and Tia was such a wonderful guide. We learnt so much about her ancestors’ history and what Fiji is like for the locals. The drive was refreshing in the open air truck and had a couple stops along the way, and the lunch was delicious. The cave, kava ceremony and all the people we got to meet were the highlight of our visit to this country!

It's wonderful to know you enjoyed the entire experience, from the scenic journey through the Sigatoka Valley to the warm welcome you received from our partner village. A special vinaka to Moses and Tia, who will be delighted to read your comments. Tia is incredibly passionate about sharing the history of her ancestors, the significance of Naihehe Cave and what life is like for the people who call the Sigatoka Valley home. It's these personal stories and genuine connections that make the experience so memorable. We're also pleased you enjoyed the BBQ lunch, the traditional kava ceremony and exploring Naihehe Cave. Our family of four had an amazing experience on the Off-Road Cave Safari during our holiday in Fiji. It was one of the highlights of our trip and gave us a genuine insight into Fijian culture and village life. From the moment we arrived, the villagers welcomed us with warm smiles and cheerful "Bula!" greetings, making us feel incredibly welcome. It was fascinating to learn about the history of Fiji, including the stories of cannibalism and how people once lived in the Naihehe Cave. Hearing these stories while actually exploring the cave made the experience even more memorable. Our guides, Moses and Saddam, were outstanding. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the history, culture, and traditions of Fiji. Before entering the Naihehe Cave, we visited the village chief to seek permission, which was a special cultural experience that gave us a deeper appreciation of local customs. After the tour, Moses prepared a delicious traditional lunch, and we had the opportunity to enjoy it together while also experiencing a traditional kava ceremony. It was the perfect way to end an unforgettable day. If you're visiting Fiji and want an authentic cultural adventure beyond the beaches and resorts, I highly recommend the Off-Road Cave Safari. It's a unique, educational, and enjoyable experience that our family will remember for years to come. Vinaka vakalevu to Moses, Saddam, and the wonderful villagers for your warm hospitality!

My husband and I signed up for this safari cave tour. Our driver was Moises and our guide “the good” Sadam. There are no words to describe the experience. Sadam was very knowledgeable about everything from the village life to the tradition and culture surrounding the caves. We were touched by their friendship, how open and welcoming everyone was. We hope to come back to Fiji and experience the people. Thank you again for sharing your culture with us~

Book this now. You won't regret it! Zack and Tia were amazing. Zack had us laughing so much that my cheeks were hurting by the end and Tia's tour was incredibly informative and interesting. The BBQ spread was amazing! The whole experience was absolutely brilliant. And don't worry, the kava tastes just like orange juice! We'd happily book again and highly recommend this experience.

We suspect a few Fijians might have a different opinion on that one—but we're delighted you embraced the experience with such a great sense of humour!
