Questa incredibile avventura ci porta a "La foresta impenetrabile" di Bwindi nella punta montagnosa del sud-ovest dell'Uganda, dove avrai l'opportunità di rintracciare i Gorilla di montagna. Il tour ti dà l'opportunità di uscire dalla bolla del veicolo e camminare con la guida locale mentre esplori la campagna attraverso la nostra attività di commercio equo e solidale che supporta i giovani in questa comunità dell'Uganda sud-occidentale. Itinerario
Volo AeroLink per Kisoro, escursione e canoa sul lago Mutanda Quindi "sistemati" in una piroga per 2-3 ore di dolce crociera rilassata sul lago, godendoti il bellissimo paesaggio. Dopo pranzo in un ristorante sulle rive del lago, proseguimento a piedi fino a Rubuguri (9 km - 2/3 ore) dove si incontra il veicolo e si guida per altri 10 km fino al Lodge di Nkuringo (circa 1 ora). Naturalmente puoi anche essere prelevato dal veicolo sul lago e guidare fino al Lodge.
Dopo la colazione, verso le 7:45 del mattino, con pranzo al sacco e acqua potabile, sarai trasferito al quartier generale del Parco Nazionale per il briefing su cosa fare e cosa non fare mentre sei con i gorilla. Quindi si continua nella foresta per l'inizio del tracciamento effettivo dei gorilla.
Questa mattina dopo un'abbondante colazione, goditi il birdwatching nella Nombe Pocket Forest: faceva parte del Parco nazionale impenetrabile di Bwindi ed è ancora abbastanza impenetrabile, tuttavia è stato tagliato fuori da esso poiché le persone avevano bisogno di più terra per vivere e coltivare. Può essere raggiunto a piedi (circa 1 ora per andare e 2 ore per tornare) o in veicolo e la visita dura ca. 2 ore, a seconda dell'interesse degli ospiti. Pranzo al lodge e alle 14:00 partenza per Buniga Forest Trail Walk, un progetto informativo gestito da USAID e dalla comunità locale di Batwa. La tribù Batwa è stata costretta a lasciare la propria casa nel Parco nazionale della foresta impenetrabile di Bwindi nel 1991, quando è stata dichiarata patrimonio dell'UNESCO solo per i gorilla. Vivevano nella foresta da cacciatori-raccoglitori nomadi da millenni, in perfetto equilibrio con la flora e la fauna intorno. Allontanarsi e vivere improvvisamente in comunità con uno stile di vita completamente diverso si è rivelato una grande sfida. Ora sopravvivono il meglio che possono e guadagnano da vivere spiegando la loro vita precedente nella foresta e il loro ricco patrimonio. Continuazione della passeggiata attraverso la comunità per visitare l'erborista tradizionale e il fabbro nero.
Prima colazione e trasferimento alla pista di atterraggio di Kisoro per il volo AeroLink del mattino per Entebbe. Fine dei servizi. A seconda del volo di partenza, goditi la stanza diurna / pernottamento alla Papyrus Guest House o attendi il tuo volo di partenza all'aeroporto.

Everything about this 5 day experience was top notch. Remmy was an incredible guide - great energy, good vibes, helpful, knowledgeable, & always kept us feeling safe. Lodges were beautiful with great service & of course the animals/wild life did not disappoint. Added some optional hikes/walks to keep us active. The trip was unbelievable. The itinerary was thoughtfully packed with amazing activities and beautiful scenic drives that made travel time enjoyable. The gorilla and chimpanzee trekking experiences were truly once-in-a-lifetime moments that we will never forget. Our guide Remmy was the best tour guide we could have asked for during our trip to Uganda. He was always prompt, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He truly made the entire experience special. We felt comfortable with him right away, and by the end of the trip, it honestly felt like we were traveling with family. We spent a week being guided by Remmy across both Uganda and Rwanda to do a gorilla habituation experience in Uganda and a ‘normal’ gorilla experience in Rwanda (both of which are very worth it). We’re fortunate enough to travel a lot - Remmy was genuinely one of the best guides we’ve ever encoutered: knowledgeable, caring, fun, calm. Highly recommended! I found Nkuringo safaris after doing a ton of research online, and the gorilla trekking was something my mom and I had been elated to add as the end of our trip after a week long safari in Tanzania (with a different provider). From first contact to last dropoff, the one word I would use to describe our time with Nkkuringo Safaris in Uganda was *SEAMLESS*. Incredible experience. Attentive to every detail, top level personalized to ensure you’re comfortable, safe, that any unforeseen events are resolved (like luggage arriving late, losing money, needing extra help during tracking ). Took care of everything since I arrived at the airport till I checked in at the end. Hotels were extra comfortable and instagrammable! Emma, my guide, made sure I had enough water, food, the right attire… more than I did! He even gave me a history lesson when I asked, and we talked music and discussed human nature. We laughed maybe too much. Excellent road trip partner. 100% recommended

This trip was AMAZING!! Moreen helped create a perfect itinerary, she was quick to respond and communicated everything clearly, and helped us when our flight was delayed so that we wouldn’t miss a minute of our trip. We also had the pleasure of working with Milton who was fantastic!
