I visitatori di Akagera possono aspettarsi di incontrare una grande varietà di selvaggina di pianura, tra cui maestosi elefanti, formidabili mandrie di bufali, topi aggraziati, zebre sorprendenti e varie specie di antilopi come waterbuck, antilopi roane ed eland. Abbondano anche specie di antilopi più piccole, con duiker, oribi, bohor reedbuck, klipspringer, bushbuck e impala frequentemente avvistati in tutto il parco. Gli appassionati di primati si divertiranno ad osservare i babbuini olivastri e le scimmie verde durante le ore diurne, mentre la scimmia blu più riservata può premiare gli osservatori pazienti. Gad was educational during the survey, polite and supportive. We were able to see 4 out of the big 5, and many other animals. They also served us breakfast.

What a wonderful day I lived with Yambitours Safari in Akagera Park. Nice group, nice weather, nice guide. We nearly saw all the big five. Only one was missing. We saw many more animals from mammals to birds, olive baboons feeding babies, elephant feeding babies, rhinos white and black, lions, and many more. All that in a day, with delicious breakfast in the park, all house made by Yambi Guesthouse. This was a great day trip safari from Kigali. Gad the guide was very knowledgeable and Kevin the driver was masterful. They were able to spot many animals even in the distance. Lunch in the park was very good. There was a stopping point halfway on the drive with good breakfasts, snacks, coffee and clean restrooms. I am so glad I was able to include this Yambi Tours Akagera safari on my Rwanda trip.
