Itinerario

Lovely day, guide was prompt and friendly Only thing was maybe a better lunch pack the rest was Excellant
Pick up was right on time and we arrived at Yala in good time. We received our goody bag of fruit and water, and began our safari. Our guide was very nice and tried very hard for us to see as many animals as possible. We actually saw a leopard in a tree, many elephants, antelope, mongoose, and others. My only complaint about the park is that the roads, if you can call it that, are horrible, bumpy and rutted. You have to hang on not to bang yourself. Also I was not impressed with the jeep. You have to climb up a ladder to get on, very difficult. Other models of jeeps have stairs at the back so it makes it easier. This was described as a luxurious jeep, which it certainly was not. Having been on safari in Kenya, and South Africa years ago, I never road on roads so terrible.
What an amazing day. We had a great guide and driver in a really comfortable jeep. He went out of his way to show us the most amazing sights and point out animals we would have missed. Can’t praise this trip enough. It was absolutely AMAZING
Limited numbers of animals seen, and between the rutted roads and the older vehicle, we wouldn't recommend it for an older person . Our driver was not very facile with English.
Extremely reliable, Excellent communications leading up to the excursion. Staff were very helpful and totally trustworthy. Trip was great and exceeded expectations
I took this Jeep tour with Merganser Holidays. The director, Henry, did a great job with communication and then met me at the gate to connect me with my guide/driver. My Jeep had cushioned seats and seat belts which I was very grateful for. Once in the park the roads were quite rough and there were lots of jeeps. My guide was truly skilled navigating the road and traffic. There was no mic or speakers so the guide would stop and point things out to me through his window. I saw a nice variety of animals and reptiles. Another interesting sight on the way was the number of loose dogs napping and meandering on the street. The vehicles all navigated around them.
Our ship was a little late in but the driver was waiting patiently and took us off immediately in the Jeep type vehicle. Took about an hour to get to Yala National Park We had Dilantha our driver and Sudesh our Guide (think I have the names the right way round). We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Park and were lucky enough to see many animals including a leopard. We were just a little disappointed we didnt get to see the elephants which others who had also taken that tour at around the same time did see but I think the hold up when the leopard arrived and the fact all the jeeps were back to back trying to ensure their passengers got to see the leopard left us with little time before the 12 noon closure. Our driver also cut up some delicious pineapple for us to have along with the best banana Ive ever eaten which was a very nice gesture. It was a very special time and we loved the experience. Thank you
Very poor conditions of the road inside the park, there are no facilities for a snack, the toilets are really dirty and unhygienic
Excellent excursion with Merganser Holidays. Well organized and without a hitch - picked up on time and back to ths ship on time. Jeep driver for the safari was also an excellent spotter-saw and ppinted out animals we would have otherwise missed. Recommended.
