Safari privato degli elefanti al Parco Nazionale Minneriya-All Inclusive

Great trip - saw loads of elephants, our friendly driver tried hard to get us to them without too many other vehicles so we had peaceful time with them too. Also saw monkeys and lots of interesting birds. Lovely afternoon, thank you!

Great experience! Our guide Padeep was very kind and managed to give us great views of the elephants and took lovely photos for us. We recommend without hesitation! One of our highlights of the trip.

I accidentally booked the incorrect date and last minute they were SO accommodating and sent a Jeep to me within 15 minutes. The driver was amazing, and with the four wheel drive (others in the park were only two wheel) he drove us up close to the animals and was the most incredible experience. He was knowledgeable and wanted us to have the best experience. We were even provided with water and a coconut at the end! Would definitely recommend!

The Safari exceeded our expectations. Our driver was really friendly and experienced. We saw over 50 elephants at least. Also babies and a tusked big male. They recommended to go to another park due to weather conditions and it was the best choice we did! To the park: Admission fee for Hurulu Eco Park is way cheaper than Minneriya. Also due to off season and lunch time visit it was not crowded at all.

We booked the private safari as a half-day safari here, as the reviews were also very good. Start would have been 1pm from our accommodation. 11 minutes after 1pm nobody was there and I wrote to the organizer. The answer came a few minutes later that the driver was already on his way. It wasn't until 1:35 p.m. that the driver arrived. He apologized for being late, also told us that he was only engaged shortly after 1pm and he is not a guide. He explicitly mentioned that twice directly. Since we had plans after the safari, that was a bit annoying. We were in the park about an hour later. My first photos at the entrance of the park prove that. I had written to the organizer due to the delays if he gives us a discount or pays the entrance fee in the park, which is extra. He rejected that as ridiculous and didn't even realize he made a mistake. This behavior has upset us and has nothing to do with professional appearance. Had the safari not been very nice with some elephants we could observe in peace and away from the crowds, I would have given one less star. The driver did a very good job, even if he was just at the beginning to the park, very taut and partly risky. Since we are used to some things, that did not bother us. All in all we were lucky with the elephants and that the driver was good.

We had a wonderful morning Safari with Masheed. He has much knowledge about the animals and is very kind. We saw many animals and had a great day. Would recommend going early in the morning, because the park was still quite empty and its not too hot.

An amazing experience. Well worthwhile! We saw four herds each with around twenty elephants. My guide, Bashi, was knowledgeable and drove respectfully and carefully around the areas with elephants (the same cannot be said for some of the other companies who were there).

We were lucky to do our safari in Minneriya National Park with Bhashitha, and we couldn't be more grateful. He was an exceptional guide from the very beginning: professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the park. Thanks to his experience and patience, we got to see a group of 60 elephants surrounding our jeep — an unforgettable experience. On top of being a great driver — always careful and respectful with the animals — he even surprised us with a lovely gesture at the end of the tour, which made the experience even more special. We 100% recommend Bhashitha. If you want to enjoy Minneriya with someone who truly loves what he does, he’s the perfect choice.

The visit to the park is too massive, with 50/60 jeeps lining up to enter the park. Most of the 3/4 hour safari is spent waiting, picking up and returning. Entrance fee to the park also disproportionate. For TripAdvisor, more clearly state in the ad that these entrance fees are not included.

Bhashitha was a great guide and really knew his animal facts. We came across alot of birds, monkeys and elephants. There was a herd of elephants with babies and possibly a teenager. We found a male elephant in the bush having a sleep. Its was a great trip.
