We did a 6-day safari with African Pangolin Safaris and our experience was excellent. Our guide Yunus took great care of us and did his best to show the best parts of the park, at the best time of the day. A full week safari is a good way to enjoy the country and its different parks. Our trip included Mikumi, Nyegere and Udzungwa with a mix of game drive, boat safari and walks. Well organised, we had nothing to think about. Definitely recommend.
We booked a 6 day safari to Mikumi, Udzungwa and Nyerere with African Pangolin Safaris. The contact with Mansoor while booking was very smooth and he was even able to help us with extra questions outside of our booked safari. The safari itself was fantastic. We were lucky enough that Yunus (not Yussuf ;)) was our guide! He went above and beyond for us, adding extra things we expressed interest in, getting medication when one of us got a bad stomach and giving us overall a fantastic safari experience. We loved the respectul way he treated the park and the animals. Where we saw other tour operators sometimes putting the people before the animals, with Yunus we always felt the animals came first which we absolutely loved! Yunus was incredibely knowledgable and besides all the big mammals we managed to see over 100 bird species! We can't recommend African Pangolin Safaris enough. Even when, after our safari, we came back from our days in Zanzibar, Yunus helped us out in Dar es Salaam when our hotel transfer never arrived. If you are looking for experienced, knowledgeable and professional people with a personal touch, don't hesitate to book a tour with African Pangolin Safaris! When we go back to East Africa we defintely won't think twice about who to contact!
