Itinerario
Fase 1: Il tour inizia sulla costa orientale dell'isola, con le sue magnifiche spiagge di sabbia nera e i famosi spot per il surf! Durante il percorso sono previste soste di 5-10 minuti per foto, informazioni da parte della guida, ecc.
FASE 2: Scoprite Tahiti da un punto di vista unico! Il tour inizia lungo la costa orientale dell'isola, con le sue magnifiche spiagge di sabbia nera e i famosi spot per il surf, prima di entrare nel cuore della valle di Papenoo, la più grande di Tahiti. Questa immersione nel cuore della natura lussureggiante dell'isola vi darà l'opportunità di scoprirne l'essenza in modo autentico e unico. Il tour include commenti e soste in diversi siti di rilievo, offrendo scenari mozzafiato fino alla Caldera, un cratere vulcanico spento che ha dato origine a Tahiti Nui. Rimarrete stupiti dalle maestose cascate, dalle montagne verdeggianti, dalla vegetazione lussureggiante e dalla flora e fauna locali. La guida condividerà con voi affascinanti storie di miti e leggende, di marae e del ricco patrimonio storico e culturale dell'isola.
FASE 3: Dopo aver percorso metà dell'isola e aver raggiunto la Caldera, l'escursione prosegue con la visita all'autentico villaggio di Fare Hape, un luogo ricco di storia dove si potrà scoprire la vita tradizionale degli abitanti di Tahiti (marae, fare, forno tahitiano, ecc.). Prima di partire, vi consigliamo vivamente di portare con voi un panino o uno snack per il pranzo. A tal fine, ci fermeremo in un supermercato dove potrete acquistare tutto ciò che vi serve. Il pranzo sarà consumato in un ambiente autentico e pittoresco nel villaggio di Fare Hape, dove potrete godervi una meritata pausa. Si consiglia inoltre di portare con sé una o più bottiglie d'acqua, in modo da rimanere ben idratati durante l'escursione. Una piccola sorpresa vi attende mentre vi immergete nella cultura polinesiana per un momento di convivialità e condivisione.
FASE 4: L'avventura continua con una sosta al tunnel che collega le coste est e ovest e che offre una vista spettacolare su Vaihiria, l'unico lago naturale d'alta quota di Tahiti. Attraverserete quindi l'intera isola prima di tornare al punto di partenza.

Beautiful scenery but hang on for the rugged ride. Guide friendly and courteous. The stops for food at the grocery store very helpful. The lunch picnic spot was a relaxing break halfway through the drive. Highly recommend.
This tour was absolutely fabulous and we would highly recommend this tour! Our guide T’mauve (not sure spelling) was the most knowledgeable and we learned so much about the Tahitian culture. He educated us on all the nature and all the beauty of Tahiti!

The guides Temaeva was excellent. However due to landslide the road is blocked. We only went half way. Tunnel id blocked. You don't see lake Vahiria. You don't go out other side of island at Mahina. We didn't e en to to viewpoint at Maroto Restaurant. Very disappointed.

In Pape’ete you do your customers a disservice by only allowing a limited number of pickup points and then not telling the providers that that's what you have done. Every single one of them assumed that we were booked at the pickup hotel. It made the experience uncomfortable and less efficient.

Leonie is such an amazing guide! The roads that typically the tour takes, on one side of the island were unfortunately washed out due to so much rain the past few days, but Leonie still found a way to make the tour amazing for us and took another way to see some amazing scenery. She is an incredible person and taught us so much about the island and the great people here. I would not have been able to see even a quarter of what we did if not for Leonie. Fantastic scenery ready at 8.45 we didn’t get going from the supermarket till 10.00. Scenery was stunning and very dramatic unlike anything we’ve experienced in French Polynesia. Would have liked water provided.

As our tours are organized in groups, the schedule and pace may also depend on the needs of the participants on the day. Nevertheless, we always do our best to provide the best possible experience for all our guests. We had an absolutely fantastic time exploring the Papenoo Valley by jeep. If you are looking for an incredible experience, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! Our guide was wonderful—so kind, helpful, and, most importantly, an incredibly skilled driver. The roads through the valley are very narrow and rugged, but she was a total professional. We felt completely safe and at ease with her behind the wheel the entire time. The trip lasted about 8 hours and included several great stops. One of the highlights was a refreshing break to swim in a beautiful natural pool, accompanied by a lovely snack. It’s clear that she has deep local knowledge, as she knew every hidden corner of the valley perfectly. I wouldn’t think of booking with anyone else. If you want a safe, authentic, and fun adventure, look no further!

While our guide on the tour through the heart of Tahiti was very knowledgeable and quite kind, I can’t recommend this trip to anyone else. Not because of the company but because the trip is 8 hours of being “bumpy” roads. It was more than bumpy, it was so jarring I felt like I was being beaten for 8 long hours. My husband was so car sick he could not enjoy any of it

However, we would like to clarify an important point regarding the route: it is not 8 hours of continuous bumpy roads. The tour alternates between paved roads, cement roads, more uneven tracks, as well as stops in the valley, at viewpoints, and at natural sites, in order to fully enjoy the landscapes and visits. We do understand that comfort perception can vary from one person to another, especially for those sensitive to motion sickness, and we regret that this may have affected your experience.
