Beaty was a fabulous guide! She was incredibly informative and so friendly. We had a blast getting to see the glacier and experiencing it first-hand, all the while getting to learn all about its history. Would recommend to anyone visiting Iceland!
Excellent guide and experience. We were on the fence about investing in this tour and it couldn’t have been more worth it. We were able to do ice climbing with our group which was the main highlight.
Super easy booking and well organised. Great tour guide too, drinks and chocolate bars at the end were a nice touch too
This was so much fun!! Highly recommend doing this before the glacier melts and you can’t anymore. Although me and my friends had never gone ice pik climbing or glacier hiking, we felt super safe since our guide was very experienced and made sure we were harnessed, had crampons, etc. Thankfully we all had plenty of hiking & skiing experience, which was good because this activity was quite the hike and definitely required some stamina and muscles. There were also folks in our group who had done this before, and they also enjoyed it, so I think this is good both for beginners and those with experience.
Our group leaders from Troll were awesome! - Lily and Gustavo were well trained for us. our group had 11 people + the 2 guides The walk to the climb site was about 1 mile. be sure to be prepared for bad weather and not appropriate for young kids! skill required was challenging even for athletic people.
Glacier was super scenic! Our guide Iskren was great! Very knowledgeable and good jokes + knew all the good photo spots 👍
We had so much fun on our glacier hike and climb! Maria was an amazing guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about the glacier and taught us a lot. The climb was super fun too, challenging but manageable! There was very little time standing around or waiting for others. Highly recommend!

This was an incredible experience and the highlight of our trip to Iceland. We were 4 adults and all really enjoyed our time on the glacier and ice climbing. I wish we would have had more time to do another climb!
Edgar and Louis were fantastic! We have some experience climbing and they took us to a spot we were still able to have an amazing time climbing! Edgar made the glacier hike fun and we got awesome photos for us. Definitely a highlight of our trip.
