La tua guida ti condurrà nelle strade della città antica, mostrandoti la palestra, i teatri, i vecchi forni e l'antenato di quello che oggi sarebbe considerato un fast food. Vedrai quindi il tempio di Iside, la casa di Menandro e le magnifiche terme. Sulla strada troverai persino le lupanarie, il quartiere a luci rosse, e finirai il tuo tour nel Forum - la piazza centrale, dove i politici erano soliti tenere i loro discorsi, i templi dove venivano costruiti e i mercanti vendevano i loro prodotti.
Dopo una pausa per il pranzo, verrai guidato al MANN, dove incontrerai la tua guida per continuare il tour. Come ti renderai conto, il Museo Archeologico ospita una collezione di statue, cimeli e affreschi di Pompei e delle aree archeologiche circostanti. Visiterai anche il famoso "Gabinetto Segreto del Re" - che riproduce una sezione del quartiere a luci rosse - e il restaurato e recentemente aperto al pubblico sezione egiziana - uno dei più grandi in Italia.

I loved having the opportunity to visit the archeological park AND the museum. It is just not fathomable the complexity and grandeur that was Pompeii without seeing the beautiful antiquities unearthed there, and housed in the museum for preservation. We had a wonderful guide (Anna) that had a wide breadth of knowledge and love of the culture of this area that helped us appreciate what we were seeing in a way that would not be possible on our own. Naples is hard to describe without seeing it, so driving to the museum, which is just lovely, was an experience in itself. We were thankful to find this combined transportation and tour from Rome. Guides with intimate knowledge of their subject open up a fascinating world for you that beats any story line from our imagination.
Driver was on time at our hotel in Rome, We had requested a few changes the tour operator meet our requests, different drop off location ( for an additional cost ) Our tour guide was so informative and fun to spend the afternoon with. The trip was very convenient and easy for our family, it was relaxing and informative, and that made it fun & easy for me!

My boyfriend and I did the private Pompeii tour on Christmas Eve. What a great decision! First of all, Salvo was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He showed up on time and we could tell right away that really knows his stuff. We had a great time with him for the three hour tour and all of our questions were thoroughly answered. Second, I really recommend visiting Pompeii off-season. We got to see everything and didn't have to wait in any lines. It was a fantastic way to spend the holiday and I highly recommend it to everyone!
