Round Island Kayak & Paddle Board Tour

Dante and his team provided outstanding service for our Kayak adventure to the sunken ship off the coast of Vero Beach. This is our second trip to Vero Beach in the past few months and both times we chose to visit Paddles by the sea because we were confident they would not disappoint.

Our family of four took the 1.5/2 hour kayak tour when we were in Vero Beach on vacation. Booking was simple (and we had the opportunity to cancel if our plans changed) and our guide was great. We were looking for something semi-active but low stress. The only down side was that we didn't see any manatees as we had hoped, but there's no guarantee of what wildlife you might see!

Friendly staff and very helpful in getting our kayaks ready and making sure we were on our way fast, it does help to complete all the paper work online before your visit. Our group had 2 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 9, we paddle for a couple of hours on the Indian River Lagoon and had a great time, Paddles by the Sea is a place that I would visit again when planning outdoor activities with the family.

My parents (age 80), kids (age 14,12) and I really enjoyed our guided kayak tour. We were helped by very friendly staff for set up and on the water. Our guide was Caleb and he was excellent. We are not experts. We were able to take our time and take pictures. I would recommend this to anyone.

we rented a tandem kayak and paddle board on 2 different occassions. very easy to book online and in person. staff was very nice and helpful. my family had a great time.

This was a great experience! We had a family of 4 and 2 additional people in the group. We rented paddle boards and tandem kayaks. It was so much fun, and the Company made it very easy to rent and enjoy. Dana was an outstanding as a tour guide. She made the whole experience wonderful. Thank you!

We had great fun kayaking. The whole process from start to finish was seamless. Easy to book on line and complete all the required paperwork. We showed up a bit early but because we were the only ones in this tour we started immediately. No waiting. Nice tour and we were able to see dolphins during our time in the river. Caleb was an excellent guide and gave us great insights into the local eco system

Highly recommend Paddles by the Sea for adventuring out on the Indian River. We did a two hour kayak rental and had a great time. There are some beautiful spots just a short trip from the dock and the staff is super friendly and gave us some great tips before we took off. While we were out we saw several birds, fish jumping and several dolphins.

We were in Florida for the week and booked kayaks for a family of 4. The day we had scheduled our kayaking ended up being rainy, so we called and switched to a different day. No problem. The kayaks were easy to use and we felt safe paddling around the Indian River. We had a young manatee swim up next to us! Saw a ray and dolphins jump up out of the water. A great experience. A staff member was there to help us out of our kayaks when we returned to the dock.

We recently took our two sons and a friend out for a guided kayak tour and it was wonderful. Beyond the perfect weather, our kayak trip was easy for the kids to enjoy, and our guide helped us locate a few manatees and a small shark along the way. We spotted a lot of jumping fish and water birds, as well. This is definitely something I'd recommend for families or just friends looking to enjoy being out on the beautiful intra coastal waterway.
