Il Tempio di Vesta (Latino Aedes Vestae, italiano: Tempio di Vesta) è un antico edificio a Roma, situato nel Foro Romano vicino alla Regia e alla Casa delle Vestali. La caratteristica più riconoscibile del tempio è la sua impronta circolare. Da quando il culto di Vesta è iniziato nelle case private, l'architettura sembra essere un ricordo della sua storia. Il tempio esistente usava l'architettura greca con colonne corinzie, marmo e una cella centrale. La restante struttura indica che c'erano venti colonne corinzie costruite su un podio di quindici metri di diametro. Il tetto probabilmente aveva uno sfiato all'apice per consentire il rilascio di fumo.
Camminerete lungo questa piazza per accedere al Colosseo e al Foro Romano. Nulla è stato aggiunto dal tempo dell'Impero Romano, quello che vedi, è più o meno la visione che i romani avevano nel passato.
Il Forum di Cesare (in latino, Forum Iulium) è un forum che fa parte dei cosiddetti Fori Imperiali di Roma, dove è stato costruito il primo forum di questo complesso. La costruzione iniziò nel 54 a. C., ed è stato completato a 29 a. C. di Augusto Mentre il Foro di Cesare, subì alcuni rinnovamenti nel tempo di Traiano e l'anno dopo l'incendio 283 d. C. Julio Cesar speso ingenti somme di denaro nella campagna della Gallia (60 milioni di sesterzi come Cicerone, secondo Suetonius 100 milioni) per comprare la terra ed espropriare i privati e demolire gli edifici che occupavano la zona, e si era anche trasferito in ostilità della Curia e facce. Julio Cesar mandò a dire a Cicerone di comprare terra che servisse a costruire il forum. La legge romana aveva un tale potere che persino gli imperatori potevano approvare i contratti.

Non così lontano dal Foro sorge il Palatino. Preparatevi a scalarla per godere di una meravigliosa vista sull'antica Roma, e vedere la collina che ha dato i natali a Roma, la Città Eterna.

My husband and I had the privilege of taking a private tour of the Colosseum and the Forums on July 14. Our tour guide was Silvia. It was the best tour I think I have ever been on because Silvia is the best guide ever! We had just finished a cruise that began in Venice and ended in Rome, which was great, but we both agree that this tour was the highlight of our travels in Italy because of Silvia. Our tour was on one of the hottest days we could have chosen this summer, but it was an absolute joy. Her knowledge and personality just made the day very fun in spite of the heat. This was our Roman holiday splurge, and well worth it. There were 11 of us in our family, ranging from 4 years old to 76. Before we even started, the tour operator was in contact via WhatsApp to confirm pickup location and timing, which was very reassuring. We had black van service (2 cars) from our hotel to the meeting spot, and then our guide Maurizio was already there waiting for us. We started at 9am and the line and security into the Forum was only 5 minutes, although by the time we got to the Colossuem there was a slight wait for the group entry, but very manageable compared to the regular entry lines. The sites were well worth it, but what amplified the experience was Maurizio's passion and knowledge. He very patiently explained as much as he could to us, answered questions thoroughly, and actively engaged our 7 and 4 year olds. Pickup after our tour was smooth. We were very happy with our overall experience.

This company went above and beyond — hands down the best tour we took. Their communication was impeccable from start to finish, making sure every detail of the experience was amazing.
