Ammira l'imponente Porta di San Sebastiano, una porta nelle mura difensive di Roma del III secolo.
Pedalate sulla "Regina Viarum", la Regina delle Strade - un'antica autostrada costruita nel IV secolo a.C., che si estendeva tra Roma e Brindisi (nella sua forma iniziale, lunga circa 538 km!)
Nel tour di 4 ore, una breve pausa per contemplare la massiccia sepoltura sotterranea, luogo di riposo per mezzo milione di anime. Nota bene: il mercoledì questa fermata non è inclusa nel tour di 4 ore. Nel tour di 6 ore, una visita guidata di 45 minuti di queste catacombe del II secolo, in tutta la loro complessità e mistero! Nota: il mercoledì, il tour di 6 ore visiterà le Catacombe di San Sebastiano (invece di quelle di San Callisto).
Fermati alle rovine monumentali di questa villa imperiale e del suo adiacente Circo (un ippodromo privato dei carri), risalente all'inizio del IV secolo d.C.

- Si prega di notare che circa il 40% del percorso di questo tour si svolge in città. Percorriamo strade cittadine scelte con cura, ma un po’ di traffico è inevitabile per collegare il Parco dell’Antica Via Appia al Parco degli Acquedotti. Nel restante 60% del percorso (a cavallo nei parchi) non incontriamo traffico.
- Coprirai un'area di circa 27 km, il 60% dei quali si svolge fuoristrada. Il livello di difficoltà di questo tour è intermedio (difficile con un seggiolino o un'estensione per bambini montati sulla bicicletta).
- Politica per i bambini : (1) I bambini di età inferiore a 1 anno non possono partecipare per motivi di sicurezza. (2) I bambini di età compresa tra 1 e 4 anni che viaggiano su un seggiolino per bambini (con capacità di carico fino a 22 kg) partecipano al tour gratuitamente. (3) Per i bambini di età compresa tra 5 e 8 anni è prevista un'estensione per bambini (child streamliner). (4) I bambini di età pari o superiore a 9 anni possono guidare autonomamente su biciclette o E-bike di dimensioni adeguate.
- Si applica un minimo di 4 partecipanti (numero totale di partecipanti al tour). C'è la possibilità di cancellazione dopo la conferma se ci sono 3 o meno passeggeri sul tour. Nel caso in cui ciò si verifichi, ti verrà offerta un'alternativa per il tuo tour o il rimborso completo.
- Il mercoledì, il percorso prevede una deviazione, quindi il tour può durare mezz'ora in più (4,5 ore invece di 4 ore e 6,5 ore invece di 6 ore). Il tour può essere di mezz'ora più lungo anche nel periodo tra metà gennaio e metà febbraio.
- La domenica di Pasqua (28 marzo 2027), le Catacombe sono chiuse (quindi, il tour di 6 ore non sarà in esecuzione)

This tour was literally our favorite part of our stop in Rome - we are still talking about it over a week later! It was so nice to get out of the chaotic city and into the countryside for a day and see a different side of Roman history. Our tour guide Merhab (I'm sorry, I probably spelled that wrong) was great, and we only had 6 people total on our tour so we really got to know each other throughout the day! There are lots of stops, so you are never riding for more than 10-15 minutes at a time, and each stop is beautiful. We especially loved riding around the old aqueducts as the sun was beginning to set. The cool catacombs were a nice break, and it was nice to have the breeze on our faces to take the edge off the heat. We will remember this tour for years to come.
This is such a great way to get out of the busy city. I was worried that it would be a little too hot considering the summer weather. But I think it was better than being on the city streets. Our guide, Tommaso, was fabulous. He was full of information and very friendly. And despite riding on some city streets, he made sure we were quite safe.

We did a eBike tour along the Appian Way with TopBike Rental in mid July. Our guide Icaro was fantastic. He was a very safe guide who was enthusiastic with sharing information. The bikes were very comfortable and we had no concerns with safety throughout. Whilst it was hot, we had frequent stops for gelato, nasoni visits. The Appian was very interesting including the amazing catacombs and aquaduct park. It was one of the highlights of our holiday for our 15 year old son. Thanks Icaro!

I'm a fairly confident mountain biker but had never ridden an e-bike before. These things are great for touring - they take all the work out of pedaling and allow you to enjoy the scenery while also catching speed when possible. We did this tour when it was 100' F so the pedal assist was critical. The tour itself was very fun and interesting. Anna was our guide and really made the day fun and interesting. In addition to the history she also gave very helpful information about upcoming hills, turns, and safety as we went. She was also very patient with our thrill-seeking boys. I would recommend the tour to anyone who is reasonably comfortable on a bike, and ask for Anna.

What a great way to see many of the attractions of Rome. The history of the area is immense. Despite the high heat for the time of year, the power-assisted bikes helped keep you moving so it didn't feel as hot. Our guide was excellent, friendly, and very knowledgeable of all the sites we saw. It also helped that we were a relatively small group size. The only way I could see for improving the tour was if they were to add a radio communication to all of the riders so the guide could pass on his wealth of knowledge for all the areas we didn't get a chance to stop at. I highly recommend this tour.
Wonderful views so nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city and on a beautiful bike ride
This was really the most fun experience in Rome. You will discover the city in a different way and cycle in the countryside for a large part, so you will not be bothered by the traffic. The groups are small and the guide will guide you safely through the city and enthusiastically tell you about the sights. We did the trip with our children, they could keep up and loved it.

This was our favorite excursion while in Rome. We had a small group with only another couple which made navigating easy and simple. Our guide was excellent and not only made the trip fun but had lots of historical and interesting facts. We chose the 6 hour trip that included a hour long guided tour of the catacombs. This was also cool experience and nice way to get out of the heat.
