- Tracciato: Il 90% dell'itinerario si svolge sull'antico basolato romano dell'Appia Antica, in zona a traffico limitato (accesso consentito ai soli residenti). Sono previsti solo due brevi attraversamenti stradali: uno per entrare al Parco degli Acquedotti e uno tra Tor Fiscale e il Parco della Caffarella.
- Variazioni Itinerario: In caso di celebrazioni, eventi ufficiali o manifestazioni pubbliche, l'operatore si riserva il diritto di sostituire uno o più punti salienti dell'itinerario per garantire la sicurezza del gruppo.
- Esperienza di Guida: È obbligatorio possedere un livello base-intermedio di esperienza di guida in bicicletta.
- Test e Diniego: Prima della partenza verrà effettuato un breve test di valutazione. La guida ha il diritto assoluto di negare la partecipazione (senza rimborso) a qualsiasi ospite ritenuto non idoneo a causa di insufficienti capacità di guida o di condizioni fisiche/mentali precarie.
- Neonati: I neonati e i bambini (fino a 20kg / 44lbs) viaggiano gratuitamente utilizzando un seggiolino fornito.
- Bambini: I bambini (sotto i 139cm / 4ft 7in di altezza) devono utilizzare un'estensione per bici (tag-along/trailer).
- Età Minima E-Bike: L'età minima per condurre la propria E-Bike è di 12 anni.

We had a wonderful experience bicycling the Appian way and the Aqueduct park. The scheduling was easy because they picked us up from the city center and the biking was great because everyone could decide how hard they wanted to pedal. As a history teacher, I enjoyed the historical details provided along the trip. My 14 year old son enjoyed the day, and I enjoyed getting away from the tourist traps and heat of the city. Get a break by getting away from the stress of the city center.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide was local and told us some fascinating things about growing up in this area, as well as the history of the ruins we saw. The caves/tunnels were super fascinating. It was cold down there so our guide took us there first to escape the heat wave temperatures outside. And we loved it. The bike ride was really impressive and we learned a lot about the history of the Aquaduct system and the Appian Way highway. Loved our guide. He was so kind.

Amazing tour with Alessio. We had a lot of fun and the itinerary is ideal to not only learn a lot about the area's history, but also experience the spectacular views of the Via Appia, the Aquaeducts and the catacombs / the network running underground in the old quarry. The bikes ran very smoothly and Alessio had so many great stories to tell and details to note along the way. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

We took a private e-bike tour on the Appian Way in June 2026. Alessandro was our tour guide and everything about our experience was amazing! Alessandro gave us a good amount of information, stopped in shaded areas when talking (we went in June so it was very hot), took us at a good speed for our family and offered to take pictures of all 4 of us along the way. I would definitely take this tour when coming to Rome!

My husband and I had a magical trip riding bikes on the Appian road. AleViante was our guide and he was the best. He was interesting and knowledgeable about the all of the history on this amazing road. We saw all the famous ruins on the road … and the aqueducts. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy.
