Passeggia attraverso l'affollata Piazza Navona, forse la piazza più bella di Roma, che ospita tre magnifiche fontane, tra cui la famosa Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi opera del Bernini. Piazza Navona è anche una delle piazze più vivaci di Roma, con diversi ristoranti e bar caratteristici all'aperto.
La Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi in Piazza Navona a Roma, realizzata da Gian Lorenzo Bernini, presenta statue allegoriche che rappresentano quattro grandi fiumi provenienti da diversi continenti. Il suo grandioso design riflette lo stile barocco per la drammaticità e i dettagli.
Prosegui la passeggiata attraverso le meraviglie della città: visita il Pantheon, il tempio dedicato a "tutte le divinità". Questo magnifico edificio è considerato il tempio antico meglio conservato del mondo e la più incredibile struttura architettonica dell'antichità. Renata was an excellent guide. She spoke fluent English and was very easy to understand. We got to know her and she us as well. She was a professional and had the knowledge and understanding of history and communicated that to us plainly. She answered all our questions without difficulty and we did throw her some tough ones. Do not hesitate to take the tour with her. She even pointed out possible other historical sites we may be interested in. She had a very good pace for us. We toured the Colosseum with Katie a few days before this tour, so we were familiar with her and were looking forward to learning from her again. The Pantheon is an engineering marvel and having a local guide with true love for history made this a cannot miss tour. Plus he took photos at every stop without us asking which was a real plus.
Our guide Marle meet us at hotel and we took a taxi to the center of Rome where she walked and talked us through all the sights - had great views of so many places! We really enjoyed our time with her!
