Ximena was an incredible guide. Great energy and a love for the city. I felt like we really saw the heart and passion of the city of Rome. The route she planned was excellent and she was very protective of us in the sketchy parts of the city. I would highly recommend this tour and ximena as the guide. Now, for some more skinny. First, it is a 4 hour walking tour. You are going to get your 15,000 steps in the heart of Rome. In the 100 degree heat wave ximena was nice to recommend a nice stop for a cool beverage and a rest break that was very welcome. And, Rome is huge. We focused on the key spots in the heart of the city. I am sure the company will work around your sight seeing desires but, Ximena explained to us that 4 hours have to be focused. Because of distance, we elected to see Vatican City on our own and that worked out very well. This is a great way to see the heart of Rome with a terrific guide.
Maria Elena was great. She was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. It was a hot day so she brought us to the best coffee shop and Gelato bar . She brought us to what we wanted to see and at our own pace. We would recommend this tour and Maria Elana.

Our experience was disappointing due to several issues with the tour guide: * Punctuality and duration: The guide arrived approximately 17 minutes late and left about 20 minutes early, which resulted in the planned 2-hour tour not being completed. * Limited access and restrictions: tour guide refused to take us near the Sistine Chapel, stating it was “closed,” and lacked good communication. * Communication challenges: The guide spoke very quickly and quietly, making it difficult for my family and me to follow along. Questions were not encouraged or addressed. Despite our disappointment with the tour guide’s performance, I do want to acknowledge that Viator’s customer service was responsive after multiple online chat attempts to resolve. Finally, after phone call, I explained the issues we experienced, they offered a 50% refund of the tour cost, which I appreciated. While this did not make up for the missed experience, I felt it was a fair gesture given the circumstances.
We had the chance to discover Rome through a private tour "Piazzas and Fountains of Rome" with Christina. Passionate, attentive, and deeply invested, she shared with us much more than the history of the monuments: anecdotes, secrets of the city, details that we would have never noticed on our own… Thank you for this timeless interlude, far from a simple visit, which made this moment even more special ❤️
