It was great! Best gelato. The tour guide was great and explained everything well. We also got a tour of the area.
This was a wonderful way to experience Trastevere and all the little shops that offer superb cheeses, porchetta. Pizza, pasta and gelato. Most were small family owned businesses who care about quality vs mass production. Wonderful guide Ana who shared historical information and colorful commentary. A group of 6 decided not to take the tour so the remaining 6 of us had a personalized time!

Terry was great! We stopped at a variety of places which had great food that I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. Terry was a great conversationalist and offered interesting facts about both the food and the area.
Amazing tour! Was so nice to be out of the tourist areas, and get a real feel for Italy and Italian food!

This tour was originally booked with a Spanish guide, but I received a message that there were changes two days before with suggestions to reschedule. However, the options did not work for us and the tour team was very resourceful to accommodate us in another English speaking tour at last minute which I appreciated. Afrodita was our tour guide and she was great, had great group control and really good conversation skills. She was also knowledgeable about Italy's culinary history and current importance. This tour included: starters, first dish, second dish and dessert with a variety of drinks.

Ana was a fantastic guide for this intimate foodie tour. She shared extensive knowledge about Roman cuisine and suggested fantastic food and drink. We enjoyed local, off the beaten path spots all a short walk from one another. We left this tour with full bellies and a love for the culinary scene in Rome. Highly recommend this tour!
