Da Piazzale Flaminio, attraverseremo Villa Borghese, facendo una sosta alla Terrazza del Pincio per ammirare viste panoramiche mozzafiato sullo skyline iconico di Roma. Passeremo per Porta Pinciana, parte delle antiche Mura Aureliane, e lungo Via Veneto prima di raggiungere Piazza Barberini e la bellezza barocca di Piazza delle Quattro Fontane. Al Colosseo, rimarrai stupito dalla grandezza di questo antico anfiteatro. Successivamente, esploreremo il Circo Massimo, il vasto sito delle corse dei carri romani, prima di dirigerci al Parco Savello e al suo lussureggiante Giardino degli Aranci con ampie viste sulla città. Proseguendo, visiteremo la leggendaria Bocca della Verità, situata nell’antico Foro Boario, prima di dirigerci verso il Campidoglio, dove si è formata la storia di Roma. Ammireremo Piazza Venezia, prima di spostarci in Largo Argentina, luogo dell'assassinio di Giulio Cesare. Il nostro viaggio prosegue attraverso il Pantheon, Piazza Navona, e termina alla maestosa Piazza di Spagna, offrendo una vista perfetta sull’eleganza di Roma.

Passeremo per la bellissima Piazza delle Quattro Fontane, la chiesa di San Carlino e l’enorme Palazzo del Quirinale, un tempo residenza del Papa, poi del re e oggi sede del presidente d’Italia
Faremo una breve sosta nel rione Monti, un tempo conosciuto come la Suburra, il cuore grintoso dell'antica Roma. Oggi è uno dei quartieri più intriganti della città, dove vicoli secolari sussurrano storie di imperatori e reietti. Da qui, una vista mozzafiato si apre sui Fori Imperiali, rivelando come gli strati antichi e medievali della città si intrecciano senza soluzione di continuità.
Da questo punto, ti affaccerai sul Circo Massimo, un tempo il più grande stadio del mondo antico, capace di contenere fino a 300.000 spettatori ruggenti. Fu qui che corse di carri come quelle di Ben-Hur catturarono la folla romana, con squadre che tuonavano a velocità incredibile. Poco più in là, sopra la pista, si trova il Palatino, dimora degli imperatori, che assistevano allo spettacolo dai loro lussuosi palazzi. Oggi, il rumore è svanito, ma la scala, l'ambientazione e le storie rimangono altrettanto potenti.
Dalla Bocca della Verità ci dirigiamo verso il Foro Boario, una delle aree di mercato più antiche di Roma. Qui troverete il Tempio di Ercole Vittore, un raro tempio circolare in marmo, e l'elegante Tempio di Portuno, affacciato sul Tevere. Nelle vicinanze sorge l'imponente Arco di Giano, misterioso e massiccio. Proseguiamo per il Teatro di Marcello, spesso scambiato per un mini Colosseo. Cosa lo rende ancora più straordinario? Un palazzo rinascimentale costruito sulla cima dalla famiglia Savelli e sì, la gente ci vive ancora oggi. Strati di Roma, letteralmente.

A Private tour with an excellent & knowledgeable Tour Guide. Our tour guide is friendly, patience & accommodating to all of us especially to guests with limited mobility. An excellent way to see Rome. We really enjoy iit!
This was a great experience! A great way to see some city highlights and take photos at these sites without having to walk 20k steps in the heat. The golden hour timing is perfect since the tour ends when it’s time to go to dinner; we ended at the Spanish steps which has so many delicious restaurants nearby!!
Been to Rome many times but after reading about this tour and knowing the temperatures were going to be high for walking about, we decided to book. What a great evening, our guide was excellent with his knowledge and stories and didn't mind our questions. We stopped by the many main attractions and other areas we've never been to too. After 3 great hours, we were dropped off at the top of the Spanish Steps, just about sunset. What a wonderful tour.
We've been to Rome many times, due to the very warm weather we decided to book this tour to save us walking around the city while doing some sightseeing. So pleased we did, our tour guide was great. Very informative, answered many questions we all had while being patient, friendly and helpful. Visited a few places we'd never been too, told lots of facts and stories new to us and had a very enjoyable 3 hours. Finished at the top of the Spanish Steps just before sunset. Such a great night.

We traveled with my elderly father and this was a perfect was to see the sights. Our guide grew up in the area and knew so much of Roman history. He brought the sites to life with the stories and details, moved from one century to the next, one Emporer to the next with ease and enthusiasm. I recommend doing this tour early in your stay in Rome so you will have more understanding of what you are seeing in the coming days.

We had a wonderful tour with Ivano! We booked for a group of 7, but luckily we had the tour to ourselves. We saw so many parts of the city - a great way to get an overview and understanding of this incredible city! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and we felt safe and entertained the entire time. We went at 6:30pm - glad we had a jacket (May) as it did get cool toward the end of the tour.
