Goditi una panoramica dei migliori monumenti che Roma può offrire in un giorno. Il tuo autista che parla inglese ti verrà a prendere al porto e ti condurrà nel cuore di Roma, in Piazza Venezia, dove si trova il monumento di Vittorio Emanuele, chiamato "la torta nuziale". Successivamente, visiterai i resti dell'antica grande storia della città: il Foro Romano, il Colosseo, il Circo Massimo, il Campidoglio, il Palatino e le Terme di Caracalla. Ritorniamo al centro di Roma per visitare il più famoso di tutti i templi della città antica; il Pantheon. Attraversa Piazza Navona, vedi Piazza di Spagna e la Fontana di Trevi. Ci fermeremo per un pranzo tradizionale italiano e shopping. Il tour della città prosegue nel pomeriggio con una visita alla Città del Vaticano, il più piccolo stato al mondo, per esplorare il più ricco magazzino di arte del mondo: i Musei Vaticani, la Cappella Sistina e la Basilica di San Pietro. Nel pomeriggio verrai ricondotto al molo.

Goditi una panoramica del Circo Massimo, il primo stadio più grande ad essere costruito nell'antica Roma che organizzava corse di cavalli e carri per intrattenere il pubblico romano. Affacciato su di esso, si trova il Colle Palatino, dove secondo le leggende romane, Romolo e Remo furono trovati dalla lupa che li allevò.
Guida la famosa torta nuziale, il monumento dedicato al primo re dell'Italia unita: Vittorio Emanuele II, una splendida interpretazione in marmo bianco neoclassico del vicino Foro Romano.
Lanciate una moneta nella fontana di Trevi per avere fortuna e un ritorno sicuro a Roma, o lanciatene due per trovare l'amore a Roma, come dice la leggenda, e ammirate la bellezza del tema del "domare le acque" che la fontana presenta.
Arrampicati su Piazza di Spagna come facevano i famosi attori alla fine del 1900 e percorri Via Condotti dove si trovano le più importanti boutique di designer.
Visita il più famoso di tutti i templi romani antichi, il Pantheon, che è stato dedicato a molte divinità romane fino a diventare la prima chiesa cattolica romana di tutti i tempi. Entra e ammira i bellissimi pavimenti in marmo, le pareti e il soffitto dove è centrato l'Oculus.
Cammina attraverso una delle più belle piazze barocche del mondo: Piazza Navona, dove puoi ammirare le tre meravigliose fontane del Bernini.
Visita il Vaticano, il più piccolo stato del mondo, ed esplora il più ricco magazzino di arte del mondo: i Musei Vaticani, la Cappella Sistina e la Basilica di San Pietro.

Absolutely amazing and flawless experience. Communication back and forth through email was clear, detailed and informative. We went back and forth perfecting our day. This is a must-do if you're traveling to Rome in the summer. It was 107° in the city and we were able to cover a lot of ground hopping in and out of an air conditioned vehicle. Our guide was amazing and extremely familiar with Roman history, pointing things out to us that we would have missed on our own.
We had a great day on our tour of Rome, our driver was fantastic and very knowledgeable and helped us see all the sites that were on our must list. He also recommended a really good place for lunch and I loved my pasta and my daughter says her lasagna was in the top 5 things she ate in Europe =) I would say the only snafu was we forgot we had to pay in cash so at the end of the tour we had to return to a cash machine, a reminder email about this would be helpful but it did not decrease our satisfaction of this excursion and we would recommend the tour and the company to friends/family.
After contacting Italy Private Excursions and connecting with Sarah, the whole adventure was amazing. Sarah was extremely patient as she outlined all of our choices, with pricing included. There were many emails exchanged and Sarah was quick to respond and clarify our questions/concerns Alex picked us up right outside our ship and drove us into Rome. Along the way he pointed out all kinds of things and was very engaging and informative. Once in Rome he managed to get use really close to the Trevi fountain in spite of it being marathon day (annual Rome Marathon day which takes place right in the heart of the city around the spots we wanted to see) As we chose the transportation only option Alex determined the best pick up location and time and after we had completed our self guided wander he was right where he told us he would be at the exact time. I found that amazing as once again it was Marathon day and the streets were packed with people. Great golf cart tour of Rome at night. Informative. Fun.
We didn't see everything that was on the list of sites to see but we did opt for a lunch break so that could be why. We did feel like we saw what we wanted to see and enjoyed all of it. The driver and the tour guide were very friendly and fluent in English. They made sure that we saw what we wanted to see and we were back to the ship in plenty of time.

From the drivers pick-up to our return to the ship everything far exceeded our expectations. Although this private tour was expensive the driver and the guide got us into and took us places we would never have been able to see. We were able to see things that we would never have been able to on a group tour and there were very personal touches from the quick stop at a small cafe on our way to Rome to the lunch arranged by our guide.

Excellent day with a great guide. Everything from pick up and drop off and in between was perfect. Private is the way to go and Stephan was awesome!
I had booked most of my excursions with the cruise ship and this was the only outside/private tour i had booked only because the ship's excursion for Ultimate Rome one was fully booked. Well, it was the best thing I did! Very easy to book, questions were answered immediately before the excursion, and the driver Alex was excellent (waited right outside our exit of the ship). Stress free, no excessive walking because driver knew how to get in and out of all stops quickly maneuvering around the narrow streets filled with people (quite fun experience).
Highly recommend. Sarah was very thoughtful and made the booking process sooo easy. We had an amazing day at Rome, our driver Nick was such a nice company, good with the kids and share so many interesting things about the city. The next day, we had a tour in Pisa/Florence and our driver Salvatore was also very nice. Cars were both great, everything very well organized and stress-free. Thank you.
