Prosegui con il tour e raggiungi il Circo Massimo, il più grande stadio dell'Antica Roma, costruito per le corse dei carri. Immagina di prendere parte a una delle gare di corse dei carri del Circo Massimo in cui i partecipanti hanno cercato di completare sette giri del Circo Massimo. I concorrenti, montati su piccoli carri trainati da cavalli, giocavano molto di più del loro prestigio o di grandi premi nelle corse, poiché molti di loro erano schiavi in lotta per la loro libertà.
Il Palatino è uno dei Sette Colli di Roma ed è una delle parti più antiche della città in quanto si erge proprio sopra il Foro Romano e sul Circo Massimo.

What a great way to see so many of Rome’s most beautiful spots lit up and looking amazing. Peter was an amazing guide and driver. Born and raised in Rome, he has so much knowledge to share and knows his way around the city. He was flexible with the itinerary and offered so many insights. After a very warm day, it was nice to get in the comfortable and air conditioned van for our private tour. This may be our highlight of Rome. Highly recommend! Worth every euro!

He was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing the history, culture, and hidden treasures of Rome. This wasn't a cookie-cutter tour where you're rushed from landmark to landmark. Peter encouraged us to customize the evening and tailored the experience to our interests, making it feel like we were exploring Rome with a local friend. One of the highlights was visiting several hidden gems and lesser-known locations that most tourists would never discover on their own. These secret spots not only gave us a different perspective of Rome but also provided some of the most incredible photo opportunities of our entire trip. My recommendation? Book the 7:00 p.m. tour. The golden-hour light transitioning into sunset and then evening illumination over the city was absolutely magical. The photos we captured during that time are some of our favorites from Rome. What impressed us most was how much we learned along the way. Peter shared fascinating history, local stories, and cultural insights that brought the city to life. You could tell he genuinely loves Rome and enjoys helping visitors experience it beyond the typical tourist attractions. To top off an already perfect evening, Peter thoughtfully dropped us off near the Spanish Steps at the conclusion of the tour, allowing us to continue our evening with tapas, cocktails, and people-watching in one of Rome's most beautiful areas. This tour was one of the highlights of our entire Rome vacation. Excellent tour ! Our driver Peter (Jean-Pierre) is an excellent driver, went to all the major sites and he provided excellent information. All four of us really enjoyed the tour and will not hesitate to recommend. The tour at night provides a different look with all the lights at the the major sites.
