Loved this tour. Great experience. Lisa was very knowledgable. From meeting us at the point she was friendly and warm. The food - so much. Prosecco and charcuterie in the cave was special. Then the pasta and tiramisu upstairs in the summer breeze that had cooled off the days heat was perfect. Thank you Lisa. Lee will be back and next time we are going to do one of the cooking tours. Chin chin. X

It was amazing, best meal in Italy I’ve had so far great tour and amazing place.
Eleanor was great. I booked this dinner as a surprise for my boyfriend who is a big history buff, but as a foodie, I also enjoyed myself. Eleanor balanced history with facts about culture and cuisine. The ambiance was great with candles and the historic Agrippa bath house walls. Definitely would recommend if you want a quiet dinner away from the busy streets of Rome.
What a way to spend time in Rome --- eating wonderful food, drinking great wine, and learning about your food, wine and surroundings from an expert. We met our guide who gave us the history of the neighborhood, explaining how some part's of the building were ruins from centuries ago, and how Rome has adapted the ancient and modern in the same place! We entered what seemed like your basic trattoria, then were shown to the lower level, where stone and brick walls-- some from the ancient budlings that stood here before--and and dozens of candles set the stage for our meal. Each course was paired with an Italian wine, which was described by the restaurants sommelier. All courses were great, but the pasta course, the traditional Roman Cace e' Pepe was the stand out to me. If I could offer any hint, it is to bring a sweater or wrap -- the cellar was cool as could be, even on a hot day.
I was looking for something a little different while we were in Rome and this popped up on social media. Not only did we have a delicious dinner, with food I may not have ordered on my own, but it came with a beautiful unique and historic atmosphere plus information about Agrippa himself. It was truly an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend it!!!

This was one of our favorite tours! Lilly is amazing. She was knowledgeable, fun and so personable. The food and wine was wonderful. A taste of authentic Roman cuisine with a side of history and fun conversation. Enjoyable way to spend an evening in Rome.
