I resti di 3.700 frati cappuccini furono raccolti in questo sito, e la terra, secondo la leggenda, fu trasportata dalla Palestina e probabilmente da Gerusalemme. In particolare, le cripte sono quelle dei Tre Scheletri dove sono custoditi tre scheletri giovanili, la Cripta delle Tibie e dei Femori dove si trovano volte decorate con ossa e teschi, la Cripta del Pelvide dove si trova una volta decorata con fasce di vertebre e ossa lunghe, e infine la Cripta dei Teschi. Eerie and thought provoking, the crypts offer a strange and unique experience: the chance to see an artist process death through art made with human remains.

Very interesting and intriguing visit. Sound guide was excellent and well presented. The crypt was very fascinating and it was amazing to see the arrangements crafted using the various bones of the skeleton. A place not to miss that takes just an hour to experience.

Krypt tour was nice but the provider had forgotten to send an employee to the church, who could exchange our tickets for those to be used. You have to have what’s app, as the communication by email did not work, so I recommend the trip but not the provider.

This was a complete rip off. You charged me $101 . For something that should have cost $30! someone from your company just met us at the door and that was it! You made $70 for 1 minute of time. You should be ashamed of yourselves. That was robbery.
