We were so lucky to have Elena, an actual archaeologist, be our tour guide. She had completed part of her university training digging the Colosseum! We learned so much. It was lovely only having 8 people total in our group. This tour was so much more comprehensive than I had expected.

Our tour with Ana was absolutely amazing. She was so well versed on all of the history of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill, and made the tour so enjoyable with new facts we did not know. It was great to be able to stop at several places to fill up our water as it was really hot, which did make things difficult on the trip. Completely awed and amazed at the history over thousands of years.

Our guide did her best to keep us in the shade whenever possible. She also gave bathroom breaks and kept very good track of all of the members of the group. she had vast knowledge of Colosseum and was able to paint a vision through words.
