Piazza della Minerva, vicino al Pantheon, ospita l'Elefante e l'Obelisco del Bernini e la Basilica gotica di Santa Maria sopra Minerva, costruita su un antico tempio dedicato alla dea Minerva. Questa piazza compatta fonde magnificamente la storia romana con l'arte barocca.

Il Circolo della Caccia era un club segreto d'élite fondato nel XVII secolo dalla famiglia Borghese, con sede a Palazzo Borghese. Jacopo is a great guide, he explained very clearly and easy to understand.
This tour was great! Rome and all its history layered on top of each other can be overwhelming. Focusing on the story of Carrivaggio and his time was a great idea! This was a fun and engaging tour and Jacopo was a warm, engaging, and very knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend

We had Jacobo as a guide. He told funny, exciting and passionate about Caravaggio his paintings and his life. I was already very interested in Caravaggio but not my husband. But because of the explanation about his paintings the story and passion it was told with, he also liked it very much. We had already done a tour with them the day before with another guide. Great, too. Had we stayed longer in Rome we would have followed more tours of this group of enthusiastic storytellers
I was VERY disappointed to receive a text 1 hour prior to my tour saying it had been cancelled. Rome was chaotic because of the holiday, the giro d'Italia , the strikes, the heat and the normal mass tourism. I made an effort to come in from the coast (Ostia) only to be cancelled with NO reason , why was the tour cancelled? If I can make the effort to arrive can the tour operator not make the effort to give a reason for the cancel. I won't book again with this group.
We strongly disagree with this review, as it does not accurately reflect what happened. The statement that the tour was cancelled "with no reason" is simply incorrect. On the morning of the tour, we made multiple attempts to contact you using the phone number and WhatsApp details provided in your booking. Neither method was working, and we received no response. We then contacted you directly through Viator to explain the situation and request confirmation of your participation. Unfortunately, we did not receive any reply until the following day. As this was a tip-based tour and you were the only guest booked for that departure, confirmation was required in order for the tour to operate. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach you through all available channels, the tour was rescheduled. We understand that traveling from Ostia took time and effort. However, references to the heat, holiday crowds, strikes, the Giro d'Italia, and mass tourism are unrelated to the reason the tour was rescheduled and are factors completely outside our control. We take communication with our guests very seriously and have records of our attempts to contact you before the tour. For that reason, we do not believe it is fair to claim that no explanation was provided when multiple messages were sent and no response was received.
The best walking tour we have done so far. Ivan was not only extremely entertaining, but he also did a great job of introducing us to the art and life of Caravaggio.
Filled with a wealth of detailed knowledge about the painter Caravaggio and his life, we were able to admire original artworks in the churches of Rome. The highlight of the tour is the lively presentation by the tour guides Ivan and Simone, both of whom can tell stories with captivating enthusiasm!! I have already done the tour twice with friends and highly recommend it!!
