Outside of the Rome perimeter but it is really the best way to get a feel on ancient Roman life. The amount of preservation is amazing.

We did the self guided tour with audio guide. Did not need skip the line tickets as there was hardly anyone there. Plan to spend a minimum of 2-3 hrs there. The place is immense and very amazing.

Very disappointing. Ticket office said they don’t accept Viator tickets! Ticket pick up point was the security officer, located past the entry point - that had no idea what I was talking about, getting tickets there Then I found the ticket office price if bought there was €22, not aviators €40. The ticket office staff smiled and looked away

This site is worth visiting. My rating is because the fees charged by this agency and the non delivery of service and both their and Viators refusal to provide a partial credit. You are best off buying directly from the parks website at cost (€18) and don’t pay $55 like I did

Took the golf cart with no audio guide, it only brings you to 1/2 you have to walk the rest. Somewhat disappointing
Did not have time to see the Pompei, and so we did this (Ostia is a city next to rome, good experience and similar to Pompei). Easy to get there thanks to the staff at the meeting point. 🤗🤗🤗
What a beautiful experience, we didn't imagine such an interesting tour in a site off the beaten track, well organised, the staff well trained, everyone friendly and kind. I advise.
