Dal molo (o dal punto di partenza selezionato) guidiamo verso la città medievale (patrimonio dell'umanità) dove puoi scattare le tue foto dall'esterno delle porte più importanti. R) In base a un nuovo regolamento sulla circolazione nel centro storico non entrano auto ma solo pedoni. Possiamo terminare il tour più tardi a un cancello del centro storico, così puoi visitarlo da solo e tornare alla nave. Dalla città medievale al porto delle navi da crociera sono 5 minuti a piedi pianeggianti. In questo modo risparmi tempo e denaro, poiché non devi pagare l'autista (tempo di attesa) B) Niente stress, i nostri autisti esperti possono mostrarti come tornare a piedi attraverso il centro storico fino alla nave (basta parlare con il tuo autista)
Continuiamo fuori dalla Città Vecchia fino al Porto Vecchio (Mandraki), dove secondo la tradizione un tempo sorgeva il Colosso di Rodi, una delle sette meraviglie del mondo antico.
Vicino all'ingresso del Porto Vecchio si trova la "Chiesa dell'Annunciazione della Vergine Maria". La chiesa è in stile basilica gotica a 3 navate con tetto in legno e ospita meravigliosi dipinti murali gotici di Fotis Kontoglou e imponenti lampadari. Oggi è la cattedrale della città
La spiaggia di Elli si trova tra il porto di Mandraki e l'Acquario, all'estremità settentrionale della città. La spiaggia di Rodi è una delle spiagge più cosmopolite.
Guidiamo verso Monte Smith Hill (Acropoli della città di Rodi) sulla strada per vedere il punto nord dell'isola dove si incontrano il Mediterraneo e il Mar Egeo. Una volta raggiunta l'Acropoli (con l'auto senza salire) ci fermiamo in un punto panoramico per una vista panoramica a 360 gradi della città di Rodi e della costa orientale e occidentale - panoramica. Continuiamo per le foto da lontano del Tempio di Apollo e dello Stadio Antico.

Dopo aver terminato con i punti salienti della città di Rodi guidiamo 32 miglia (50 km) a sud-est dell'isola a Lindos - Sulla strada si visita la baia di Anthony Quinn - Scenic NOTA IMPORTANTE: Nelle giornate molto affollate, Anthony Quinn Bay può diventare estremamente affollata, rendendo difficile o addirittura impossibile l'accesso o l'uscita dei veicoli dalla zona a causa dell'elevato numero di auto parcheggiate. Per evitare di perdere tempo prezioso nel tour, potremmo sostituire la visita alla baia di Anthony Quinn con una breve sosta fotografica (sulla via del ritorno) al Kallithea Viewpoint (nota bene: non entreremo a Kallithea Springs). Questa regolazione ci permette di mantenere la qualità generale e il programma del tour pur offrendo una bella sosta panoramica.
Lungo la strada puoi scegliere una breve sosta opzionale in un laboratorio di ceramica dove viene prodotta la ceramica tradizionale di Rodi. Puoi vedere le meravigliose opere d'arte e guardare il vasaio lavorare al suo volante. Puoi persino imparare il mistero della coppa di Pitagora!
Sulla strada per Lindos ci fermiamo in un punto panoramico per una foto panoramica da una distanza di Lindos Beach. Splendida sabbia bianca, mare calmo e piatto e ottima spiaggia. La spiaggia è dominata dalla bellissima acropoli. Dallo stesso punto puoi ottenere le tue foto panoramiche del Villaggio Bianco e dell'Acropoli di Lindos
Guidiamo nel villaggio dalla piazza principale in modo da poter: Opzione A) Percorrere i vicoli di Lindos e salire sull'Acropoli Opzione B) Esplora semplicemente il villaggio bianco, percorri i vicoli di Lindos (non salire 292 gradini per l'acropoli) Il tuo autista può mostrarti l'acropoli da punti panoramici e ottenere le tue foto da lontano. In questo modo salti la folla, risparmi tempo e hai più tempo per esplorare il White Village Hai un'ora da trascorrere a Lindos (villaggio e Acropoli) Puoi prolungare il tour se lo desideri (o contattaci al momento della prenotazione, così possiamo modificare il tour secondo i tuoi desideri) il tour è flessibile al 100%
Cammina attraverso il villaggio di Lindos e sali i numerosi gradini e sentieri in salita fino alla cima dell'Acropoli per vedere i magnifici resti delle civiltà passate e goderti la vista panoramica a 360 gradi. Hai 35 minuti per l'Acropoli. Il tempo totale a Lindos è di un'ora e 10. Se hai bisogno di più tempo, faccelo sapere, così possiamo modificare il tour. (Puoi saltare la salita all'Acropoli) SISTEMA DI BIGLIETTO ELETTRONICO DELL'ACROPOLI DI LINDOS All'Acropoli di Lindos, l'ingresso è limitato a fasce orarie specifiche coperte dal sistema di biglietto elettronico. In genere, i visitatori raggiungono il villaggio di Lindos circa 2 ore e mezza dopo l'inizio del tour, con un'ulteriore salita di 15 minuti fino all'acropoli. Sulla via del ritorno continui a sud di Lindos, nella baia di St. Paul, dove si dice che l'apostolo sia sbarcato nell'anno 51 d.C. per predicare il cristianesimo ai Rodiani. Da questo punto puoi anche vedere la grotta in cui è stato girato il film “The Guns of Navarone” - scenico
Continuiamo verso la città di Rodi e gli ultimi 14 km / 8 miglia guidiamo attraverso la strada costiera della meravigliosa spiaggia di Faliraki. Faliraki apre solo durante la stagione estiva, il suo unico scopo è quello di offrire ai suoi visitatori una vacanza che non dimenticheranno. La spiaggia è principalmente di sabbia e l'acqua è cristallina.
Continuiamo lungo la strada costiera orientale e passiamo Kallithea Spa. In questo scenario paesaggistico, è stato girato il film "Escape to Athena" con Telly Savalas e Roger Moore. Anche alcune scene del film "The Guns of Navarone" sono state girate qui. Rientro a Rodi Città Vecchia per navigazione indipendente, o alla nave (o al tuo hotel). La città medievale è a 10 minuti a piedi dal porto delle crociere

Fateci sapere quando desiderate iniziare il vostro tour A) PORTO DI CROCIERA DI RODI: Ci vediamo al molo, appena usciti dalla vostra nave con un cartello sul veicolo che mostra il vostro nome. Di solito accanto agli autobus turistici della tua linea di crociera. Abbiamo la licenza per entrare in banchina. Rodi è un porto portuale (tutti i passeggeri sbarcano direttamente al molo, senza gommoni o funivie) quindi è facile sbarcare. B) HOTEL: Ritiriamo da qualsiasi hotel a Città di Rodi (la nostra sede). Sulla costa orientale dell'isola pick-up fino a Kolymbia (25 km / 15 miglia da Rodi). Sulla costa occidentale dell'isola fino al villaggio Paradisi (14 km / 8,6 miglia da Rodi).

We had a good time with George exploring Rhodes. There were a couple of unfortunate things though. We suggested to him that we should head out to Lindos first and then explore the city afterwards in order to stay ahead of the crowds at the Acropolis, but he decided to go forward as planned. As a result, we ended up getting stuck in traffic a couple of times and by the time we arrived at Lindos, the crowds were already there and it took an hour to get into the site. After visiting the site, George seemed to be rushing to drop us off so he could pick up another party at the airport. He did make an excellent suggestion for lunch at Mama Sofia. Best food we had had up to that point in Greece.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would, however, like to clarify a few points, as we believe there may have been some misunderstanding. A) Our tours are always 100% flexible and customizable. At no point during the tour (or before the tour) was there a request to drive directly to Lindos first. Had this been requested, George would have happily adjusted the itinerary accordingly. B) Regarding the crowds in Lindos, your cruise ship was actually the second ship arriving that morning. A German cruise ship had already docked at 7:30 AM, while your ship arrived at 8:30 AM and the tour began at 9:00 AM. This means that Lindos was already busy before your arrival, even if we had driven there directly. C) Additionally, the weather on the day of your visit was cloudy, which led many tourists staying in hotels across the island to visit popular sightseeing locations such as Lindos instead of spending time at the beach. Unfortunately, this created heavier traffic and larger crowds than usual around the island’s highlights. D) We would also like to reassure you that George was never rushing to return you to the ship. We intentionally never schedule another service immediately after our tours, specifically to allow flexibility in case guests wish to extend their experience or make additional stops during the day. Nicolas was very communicative while we were setting up the customized private tour. He was even there at the ship and personally introduced us to our driver Cristo. Cristo was very good and paitent with us as we changed things around a bit. THen we asked him if he knew a great restaurant to have late lunch and we went to a wonderful spot on the water it was great and authentic! On time, patient, very knowledgable and accomodating! Our tour of Rhodes with our tour guide George was fantastic. He picked us up at the pier in his very nice van and away we went. He was very knowledgeable of the history of the country and let us set the pace of how long we wanted to spend at each spot and he spoke excellent English. George was very polite and very easy to talk to and ask questions about his country. We highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Michael, was outstanding! He was waiting for us right off the ship in a beautiful sedan. He gave us a great overview of Rhodes, and its rich history. We had a wonderful ride to Lindos with a quick bathroom stop and some shopping at a local pottery store. I can’t say enough about the town of Lindos. We were lucky that there were hardly any other tourists. We had a wonderful lunch and walked around. I highly recommend taking the time for a visit.

Our tour guide did his best and we got to see the historical sites, but we had bad timing as it was winter and on a Sunday. Rhodes is apparently seasonal and not a Sunday thing. Most of the shops and restaurants were closed. (The few that were open were making a killing.) The journey to the acropolis on the far side of the island was worth it. I had the best baklava ever in Rhodes old town.

We had an amazing experience on our five-hour private tour of Rhodes thanks to our guide and driver, Michael. The entire process, starting with the booking, was excellent. Dealing with Nicholas was a pleasure—he was extremely responsive to my emails and made the process very easy. A huge plus was the pickup: our car was literally waiting right outside the ship, directly next to the gangway, which made us feel like VIPs and started the day perfectly. Michael truly made the tour exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared fascinating details about life on Rhodes. His fantastic sense of humor kept our family entertained and laughing throughout the entire five hours. Even though we opted not to climb the 292 steps to the Lindos Acropolis, Michael made sure we still get photos of it. He also showed us a couple of truly gorgeous bays and panoramic views. We also had time to walk around Lindos village. We were dropped off at Old Town Rhodes after the tour which gave us ample time to shop around Old Town. Having taken many private tours globally, we were very impressed. Even though Michael served as a “one man team” (both guide and driver), he is simply one of the best we've encountered. We highly recommend both the tour company and Michael!

Gianni was an excellent tour guide. He provided the history of Greece/Rhodes, we went to the Acropolis of Lindos, Acropolis of Rhodes, beautiful beaches including Anthony Quinn Bay. We saw so much in a very short amount of time due to cruise ship time limits.

We had a wonderful day riding in comfort and seeing beautiful Lindos and Rhodes. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history and attentive to our needs.
