We had a really great experience from the time Daniel our driver picked us up until the time he dropped us back at our hotel. Daniel was a great driver, punctual, friendly and informative with a very clean car. Bruno took us on a great ATV tour of a beautiful farm with some island highlights and history and then Bruno and Joshua led a fantastic 3 stop snorkel tour, in gorgeous waters where we saw tons of activity and cool sea life. I would recommend this tour!
AMAZING. Off the beaten path. Wonderful private experience, back to the boat with hours to spare. Educated and fun tour guides.
This was an amazing experience from start to finish!!! We were greeted by our driver Reny (all around amazing dude!) - he was polite, charismatic and so fun to chat with about the history of the island! We were early, so rather than just taking us the boat dock to sit and wait, he drove us to a couple of local places. We made stops to check out chocolate, get refreshments and browse homemade goods from locals and we had some amazing view stops as well. Our snorkeling outing was perfect! The guides were attentive, fun and took us to all the best spots. They provided drinks and snacks (local canned juice, fresh watermelon and some really amazing rice bread!) We have snorkled with this company before but in a different area and it NEVER disappoints. Corals, fish, water - beautiful!!! The people really top off this experience! Without them, it really wouldn't be the same. They made this experience safe, fun and educational. I highly recommend. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!
The snorkeling was memorable. The guides gave us the freedom to swim and wander off, responsibly watched by the guides of course. Our main guide that took us to and from port was Daniel. Gave us all the local history on the people, culture and island itself. I highly recommend him and this excursion experience.
It was pouring rain that morning. Our driver pucked us up and we drive to the boats where after some time the rain slowed. By time we got out it had stopped. We had a wonderful day snorkeling and seeing the animals. What i wish i had done was bring a change of clothes because i was wet and uncomfortable in the animal park. Because of the rain delay we did not have time to enjoy the actual port because when we reyurned i was still wet and wanted to get back to the boat. Great experience, 16 yo granddaughter loved it!
We had the most wonderful day in Roatan thanks to our amazing guide, Josel Diaz. We booked a combination of events with a short window of time to squeeze them all in. The pick up instructions were clear and easy to follow. First we went to AJ’s to see the sloths, macaws, and monkeys which was a lot of fun. One half of our group went off to do the 3-stop snorkelling and had the best time. They saw starfish, coral, a great many varieties of fish, and a shark! They joined the other half of the group at Little French Key where we enjoyed swimming with Barbie the pig. We had the lunch and drinks package, and the island plate was delicious! There are a bunch of activities at Little French Key such as snorkelling, paddle boards, and kayaks. Or you can choose to relax on a sun lounger, swim, or jump off the rope swing. Josel was an engaging tour guide who was very happy to share information about Roatan. He stayed at each attraction until we were done and ready to move onto the next thing. He made sure we got to spend a decent amount of time at each attraction and got us back to the port on time. If you’re in Roatan and looking to enjoy what the island has to offer, give Roatan Five Star Tours a try and ask for Josel.
I liked it a lot, private, very attentive and punctual, the most important thing. Onil assisted me.
This was amazing! First, our driver Kent, picked us up at our hotel and drove to the boat location. Bruno and Josh got every fitted with gear, water, juice, and watermelon to snack on. Once we got started, the captain drove to the 1st site and we got to see starfish, Sand dollars, and other small fish and crabs. Bruno and Josh were in the water with us the whole time and available to help anyone who needed it. This was an amazing excursion and all 3 sites were so fun. Once we got back to the dock, we found that Kent was there waiting to drive us back to our hotel.
Highly recommend this company. Every thing from booking, being picked up from our cruise, snorkeling, and returning back to ship was so smooth and fun. Reny and Bruno made this trip so memorable. 100% book with this company. We saw that the excursion was offered thru the cruise ship but I went to the company website instead. It was cheaper this way and again still flawless. Thank you Reny and Bruno - you guys rock!
Skip the big cruise line excursions and support the locals! Getting to the meeting spot was hectic, but take a deep breath and push through the crowds—it was well worth it. Communication from the tour company was excellent from start to finish. Daniel, our guide for the day, was outstanding. He shared so much about the island and made the experience even better. If you have the chance, ask for him! Bring cash for tips for your driver, the animal experience and the snorkeling guides. The animals were a blast, and the snorkeling was beautiful. My favorite part was exploring the shipwreck. I highly recommend this tour if you're looking for a fun, well-organized, locally operated experience.
