it was a great experience, I was travelling alone and I felt a bit anxious, sad and sullen. Then, I saw this offer and I was doubtful, and finally what a godsend!!!! this stay took another turn, I met wonderful people, who wanted to share moments of life too. I found the joy and excitement of the journey. We did activities that I didn’t even imagine (e.g. climbing sugar bread). the tour was very complete, from the party in Lapa, to hiking and historical explanation of the city. The hostel was a resourceful place, I leave Rio death in the soul to leave all this behind... I can only recommend this experience.

Wonderful stay, unforgettable, full of encounters and adventures... I particularly remember the climbing of the paõ de açúcar (very well guided) and the various night outings... A thousand thanks Rio, I'll be back, for sure... Even being alone, it was an amazing experience.

Choosing a private tour with RWC in Rio de Janeiro was an excellent decision. It's easier and more enjoyable to explore the city with locals. I had a great time at live music and dance events, savored diverse Brazilian cuisine, discovered Rio's neighborhoods with the bike, and the highlight was the Sugarloaf hike. Exploring Rio without Portuguese knowledge was much easier with RWC. Thanks a lot for the incredible time and adventures in Rio!

As a solo female traveller, I was a bit afraid of going to Rio, so I booked the 5 days experience with Rio World Connection, and it was the best decision I've made in my trip in Brazil. They provided me with the best experience a foreigner can have in a very safe way. Got to explore Rio just like a local. I was also able to switch one of the adventures day for kite surfing, since Marcos does it as well. I super recommend for anyone that wants to enjoy the city without much of concern.

I was lucky to have this opportunity to go on Sugarloaf Adventure or climb to the top of Pao de Acucar while I was on the Five day tour of the Rio with Marcus. First Rio World Connection is well organized, they are energetic, safety conscious, funny, knowledgable about the city and the Carioca culture (I suppose they are Carioca). Its the those details of places, timing, food, party, music that make your experiences memorable. Rio World Connection seems to have all of these really well planned. The climb to the top of Sugarloaf was fantastic in many different ways- very scenic, at times very scary but at the same time very thrilling but safe (he really made sure we are all comfortable and safe all the time). Highly recommend this adventure even if you are "scared" of height! Felt bad that he had to carry over 50 lb of climbing gears with him all the way to the top. The rest of the tour was more of the fun and experience of Rio which without Rio World Connection would not have been possible. These guys knows where to go and when to go where and how to get there in the most comfortable way and once you are there how to take the most of it- they are music fan and know most if not all the bars and places in Rio. As a Brazilian he speaks English very well and that makes a lot of difference in your trip and your guide! If you are planning to head south and go to this beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro then why not make the most of it and let these guys show you around- just knowing which beach to go and once you are on the beach how and what to buy to maximize your experience is what matters!!
