Al Parco Nazionale di Riisitunturi, i viaggiatori esploreranno uno dei paesaggi invernali più iconici della Finlandia in un'escursione invernale guidata. This winter hike to see the famous snow monsters in Riisitunturi National Park was unquestionably my happiest day during my trip to Finland. Our guide (inside the picture )was absolutely wonderful and thoughtful from the very start. He immediately noticed we were not dressed warmly enough and lent us proper winter gear to keep us safe in the freezing temperature. During the barbecue lunch break, he kindly grilled sausages for all of us. We had such a lovely chat along the trail, and he shared his beautiful story about meeting his wife while hiking in the mountains. The whole journey was full of laughter, he was very encouraging and brought amazing positive energy to our group. A sentence he said to me still stays with me now that I’m back in Hong Kong: whenever you feel frustrated and overwhelmed, think about the peace and calm you feel out hiking in nature. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Finland. Don’t miss this unforgettable experience!

It was an amazing experience! Everything was great from start to finish. The guide - Jake - was the best – very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. Great tour! Our guide Samuli was very nice and accommodating. There were even vegetarian sausages for me to grill. However, I find the tour very expensive, for actually hiking "only" 4km in the national park and having a small BBQ. The round trip is 2h each.

A magical hike in unreal landscapes. The "Snow Monsters" are impressive and the organization by Book Lapland is on top, with a very comforting lunch. Thanks to our great guide Juan. I highly recommend for photos!
My husband and I joined the trip to Riisitunturi National Park with Book Lapland. Our guide, Arthur, made this experience unforgettable. We spend a few hours walking through the snowy landscape of the national park and admiring trees covered in snow. We ended our experience on a bonfire, preparing our sausages and chatting with other members of the group. Arthur brought a generous amount of supplies, including marshmallows. We really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere that he created, and the views of frozen trees are quite otherworldly. The walk itself was quite light and easy for anyone to do, but bring a warm jacket. Overall, great experience, definitely recommend.
