Descrizione

Great.

The welcome, the place and the service were up to the task to spend a very nice evening. The idea of being among the artists is really interesting

Enjoyable experience but...

In the first room, there were practically no seats. There were many people: difficult to see the artists. In the second room, phew there were chairs (why not do everything in this room?). That said, you had to be in the front rows to see something. Probably too many people (80 people?) for it to be comfortable. Other than that, the singers were fine. As for the exchange time announced in the brochure at the end with the artists, it did not take place.

Unique and Memorable Way to See Opera

While pricey, this was a lovely evening and a unique experience. I think it might even be good for first time opera goers as the stripped down performance with just a few characters and several breaks feels a bit more relaxed than going to a theater for a grand production. I saw La Traviata, which is one of my favorites, and the setting in the museum rooms was perfect.

A very nice surprise.

I have known the Jacquemart-André Museum for a long time and it is truly a unique place in Paris. This new Nelly's bow string is a really nice surprise. Really a nice balance between the musical quality of the performance and the intimacy of the experience. I was a little afraid of the level of vocal performance with in my ear the recordings or performances of the Traviata on international stages including the opera Bastille. The voices are really of a very high level and the low volume of space really gives a very unusual listening proximity. The "staging" with an alternation between sequences sitting in different places and standing sequences where the singers mix with the audience is really very pleasant. A qualitative mention also for musicians (pianist, violinist and cellist) for the quality of their speech and their exchange with singers. Really a nice surprise!

Beautiful interpretation!

Place and atmosphere are particularly suitable for this service. The interpreters are perfect. We liked the way the show went. Maybe a lack of light for the last act. We will recommend this type of show to our entourage.

Very good service

Very good service, in a place always so beautiful during our many visits. Excellent idea to have scheduled this show on 2 rooms, almost interactively (maybe more chairs were needed in the "main" room). Very good interpretation, beautiful voices, a very warm welcome. A few petit fours would have been welcome to accompany the champagne. It would also have been preferable for participants to understand that when it comes to evening wear, they know how to respect the organizer's request, especially for such a prestigious venue. Thank you for a great evening

Unforgettable evening!

Sublime experience, living up to our expectations!!!! Just a small downside: for people who have problems standing longer, like my husband, some possibilities besides being able to sit on a bench or chair during the first and third part would be nice.
