This trip with Grantham was the highlight of my visit to SA. Grantham was very knowledgable showing us all the sites. Great conversation all the way through. Highly recommended and very safe for solo female traveller!!
Thank you for your thoughtful review and for taking the time to share your experience. It was a pleasure hosting you during your visit to South Africa. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour, found it informative, and appreciated the opportunity to explore the sights together. Your recommendation, particularly regarding the experience for solo female travelers, is sincerely appreciated. Thank you once again, and I wish you all the very best in your future travels. We look forward to welcoming you back to South Africa in the future.
Amazing place nearby Pretoria and Johannesburg, it's a bird paradise The whole area is a self drive heavy, predominantly which makes you use your time as you want and spend as much or as less of it in different parts of the reserve. I recommend 5-6 hours (early morning 6-7am to 13 pm or from 3-4pm till dusk) There is a plethora of birds to see here + some other interesting animals like cape buffalo, elands, waterbuck, Impala, zebras and such... There is a good number of hides for birds, and each one bring you face to face or relatively close to your photography subjects. Area is well maintained but due to some problems with industrial complexes up stream some areas are polluted, but birds prevail even in such conditions (I hope they find a way to fix this in the near future) The commission is very cheap for such an area (5-6 euro) for the whole day and there is even resting areas and picnic sites Highly recommend
Awesome, the guide had entertained us alot about his knowledge of the animals. We saw a big heard of buffalows which is called a gang

Was a very relaxing and informative tour, with the guide in the vehicle. He helped point out the animals as well as give a wider description of the nature of Southern Africa and Africa as a whole.
We had a brilliant visit to the nature reserve today. We were picked up by our guide,George, from our hotel at 9am as arranged. George was an excellent guide, friendly and very knowledgeable. We thoroughly recommend this trip.
