Cabo Catoche si trova a circa 43 chilometri a est di Holbox ed è il punto in cui si incontrano il Mar dei Caraibi e il Golfo del Messico. In questa zona puoi vedere paesaggi incredibili con spiagge incontaminate. È il luogo ideale per la pesca e lo snorkeling grazie alla sua lussureggiante vita marina. Ma tieni presente che le condizioni meteorologiche potrebbero influenzare questo tour. DELFINI: in questo tour è possibile vedere i delfini nella parte esterna di Cabo Catoche. PESCA: a nord di Cabo Catoche cattureremo del pesce che useremo come ingredienti nel nostro ceviche. SNORKELING: Nella zona di Cuevones che è profonda circa 2 piedi è possibile vedere tutti i tipi di pesci e coralli molli. Sotto le pietre nell'acqua si possono trovare gli innocenti squali nutrice in agguato sullo sfondo e talvolta si possono vedere anche falchi, polpi e aragoste. (Se l'acqua non è calma, la visibilità potrebbe non essere ottimale) SPIAGGIA E MANIGRO: Dopo lo snorkeling andremo a riva sulla spiaggia vergine dove si può fare una passeggiata intorno all'isola per fare foto. Quindi prepareremo e mangeremo il nostro ceviche sulla spiaggia. Se la marea è alta passeremo attraverso una mangrovia che ci riporterà a Holbox dall'altra parte dell'isola.

Excellent experience, Silvia the coordinator and Willy the guide, super attentive, explained everything and we learned a lot about Holbox geography and history. Places a paradise. Do not hesitate to make the excursion
I can't say enough good things about this trip!!!! Myself, my husband and three kids all said it was one of the most memorable things we've done, and definitely the highlight of our trip! It far exceeded any expectations we had! David was our tour guide, and he was so friendly and energetic and had so much knowledge of the area. He took us fishing using strings with lures and we had so much fun! Caught a lot of fish which was exciting. From there, he dropped us on a little stretch of beach to relax while they stayed on the boat and made homemade ceviche from the fish we caught. We were blown away by the feast they provided. Fresh ceviche, homemade guacamole and a delicious mango salad and homemade tortilla chips - it felt fine dining and was one of the best meals we had on the island. Pablo was our captain, and was wonderful! He's a master and helped us catch fish! When you're in Holbox, you have to do this trip - you're in for an amazing adventure

We had an amazing experience working with VIP Holbox! From the beginning, communication via WhatsApp was prompt, clear, and helpful — everything ran right on time. A special thank-you to David and Captain Alan, who went above and beyond to accommodate our family. Our daughter gets seasick easily, and they were incredibly attentive, making sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. Their kindness and care truly made a difference. The entire team was so ready to serve, share, laugh, and teach us — we learned so much about the local flora, fauna, marine life, and nearby towns. It felt like more than a tour; it was a rich, personal, and joyful experience. And we must mention the ceviche — it was the jewel of the trip! Fresh, delicious, and the perfect touch to an unforgettable day. We’ll definitely be booking another tour with VIP Holbox in the future. Highly recommended!
Our trip was great from start to finish! Our guides were great, Willy was very informative, very patient and they asked often if we were good and what we wanted to do. Fishing was awesome, stopped at chill beach Cabo Catoche for lunch where they prepared the best ceviche we ever had! On our way back we saw dolphins. Willy was nice to share pictures of our trip. Highly recommend
Gustavo and Pablo were absolutely wonderful! They were friendly, accommodating and very well prepared for a great boat day! The ceviche they made on the boat, is the best on the island! They picked us up on the beach side of holbox and were very easy to find. The boat is very clean and comfortable and is better in person than in pictures. This is a must! the best part of our holbox trip.

We booked this tour as part of our family trip to Holbox. Two adults and two older teenagers, and all really enjoyed it. Our son especially enjoyed the fishing and ceviche, oyr daughter especially loved the snorkeling and photos, dad especially loved the boat ride, and mom loved it all. Our guide Eric spoke good English and taught us so much about local culture and the island; our captain did speak speak much English, but both were excellent regardless. I definitely recommend!
Eddy and Eric were fantastic! They took great care of us and our two children. It was a highlight of our trip -- the ceviche was the best we have EVER had. We also caught lots of fish, Eddy and Eric were very attentive to our children and making sure they had the experience of catching the fish. Cabo Catoche had the most beautiful untouched beaches we have ever seen. The tour was early which we loved -- there was no one out at the beautiful spots they took us. 100% recommend and we will go again!
We really enjoyed our tour with Eddy. Captain and Eddie showed us how to line fish and caught us the perfect amount of fish for a delicious ceviche. We got to relax and enjoy our ceviche lunch at a nice quiet part of the beach at Cabo Catoche. The day was perfect. I would definitely recommend!! Gracias Eddy y Capitan!!
