I had an incredible experience at Rayong! Swimming in the waterfalls nearby the fishes was refreshing and peaceful. The restaurant by the water offered stunning views and delicious traditional Thai food, which Yuwanad encouraged us to try. The mangrove forest was a serene escape, and we could even see some sleeping bats in the trees and some crabs fighting over a leaf. Kayaking in the calm, beautiful sea was the perfect way to end the day. I am a complete beginner at kayaking, but Yuwanad helped me get started.
My girlfriend and I attended this trip as we thought it would be an insult to stay in the city and not experience the real Thailand. Hike - really enjoyable 4km hike through the national park where we had the opportunity to cool off in the waterfalls/natural pools and enjoy nature. This beautiful location offers some well needed peace and quiet after spending time in the busy city. I’d say easy/intermediate level hike - ensure you wear trainers, bring sun protection etc. Lunch - our brilliant host took us to a seafood restaurant right on the river. I personally don’t eat seafood but there were chicken options available. My girlfriend loves seafood and said it was some of the nicest, freshest seafood she had ever eaten. Although lunch not included the meal was really cheap at 200 thai baht. Mangroves - quick visit to the mangrove forests. If you haven’t experienced mangroves before it’s definitely worth checking out! Kayaking - kayaking across the thai lily waters was an awesome way to end the trip. Nice and relaxed, beautiful end to the trip. What makes this trip well worth the money is the host. Yuwanad is a brilliant host. This is her business and she puts her heart and soul into it. Sure, it’s a long trip and sounds intense but it really isn’t. You don’t need to be some exercise fanatic to enjoy the trip. Take everything at your pace and enjoy the real Thailand.
It was an amazing trip! The day was the perfect mix of nature, adventure, and local experiences. Started with a beautiful hike in the national park, followed by a delicious lunch at a fisherman’s village—such an authentic and memorable experience. Later, we visited a stunning park and went kayaking with breathtaking views. We ended the day with a lovely dinner at a local restaurant. Yuwanad is incredibly positive, friendly, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Yu is such a great guide. She was prompt and professional and the day kicked off perfectly. She’s extremely knowledgeable about each location, her English is phenomenal, and the day was packed with gorgeous vistas and amazing nature. I desperately needed to get out of the hustle and bustle of Pattaya and this was the perfect remedy. Thank you so much for an awesome day!
fantastic Very pleasant sporting experience. Tough climb, yet feasible for everyone beautiful walk through the mangroves and a quiet kayak trip to conclude. Clear and extensive explanation by the guide. Lunch and coffee in 2 renovated establishments. Highly recommended
We had a fantastic day with Yuwanad on our Rayong adventure, specially adapted to accommodate our timings. She collected and returned us from/to our cruise ship at Laem Chabang Port. We are aged 56 and 63 of okay fitness and I was a little concerned the waterfall hike might be a bit too much. It wasn’t at all. It was fun, exhilarating and stunningly beautiful. Yuwanad went at our pace, took loads of photos of us (which she promptly emailed after the day) and showed us the safe paths to take. I felt completely at ease in her care. We later went kayaking through the lotus fields in the Botanical Gardens - another wonderful experience. I would recommend this trip without hesitation. Very special.
We only had a limited amount of time while our cruise ship was in Laem Chabang. Our guide, Yuwanad created a special itinerary for us and kindly picked us up from the port to ensure we could make best use of our time. She was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We walked up the Khao Chamao Waterfall and had a swim. You do need to be reasonably fit to do this and chilled about steep drops and green pit vipers. With Yuwanad’s guidance we were perfectly safe and loved the hike. She supplied a lovely lunch (taking account of our requests) which gave us the chance to try some local food. It was delicious. Then we went kayaking amongst the mangroves at sunset which were full of water lillies. Absolutely magical. As we had a little time left, Yuwanad drove us back via Pattaya - crazy place. Highly recommended.
Awesome trip hiking in the national park alongside waterfalls, swimming in the river, a long walk on boardwalks through mangroves, followed by kayaking among lotus blooms and birdwatching from the kayak.
Was an awesome day on the Rayong Adventure! A great mix of hiking, kayaking, and stunning views. Perfect for anyone who loves outdoor fun!
