In questo tour privato di Ravenna, la tua guida ti mostrerà i tesori più importanti della città che comprende 8 siti del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Esplorerai alcuni dei suoi siti più importanti e ammirerai i meravigliosi mosaici che ti circondano. Il tour si svolgerà per circa 2,5 ore al mattino, quindi potrai goderti un pranzo (in autonomia), dopo di che incontrerai di nuovo la guida e proseguirai il tour per altre 2 o 2,5 ore. Vedrai i cinque principali mosaici in città, come: la Basilica di San Vitale, il Mausoleo di Galla Placidia, il Battistero Neoniano, il Museo Arcivescovile e la Basilica di Sant'Apollinare Nuovo. La tua guida ti porterà poi nella pittoresca Piazza del Popolo. Esplorerai anche l'area di Dante, o Area del silenzio e potrai vedere la tomba di Dante. Infatti, il famoso poeta fiorentino esiliato morì a Ravenna il 13 settembre 1321. Vedrai anche Piazza San Francesco e la bellissima Basilica di San Francesco.

Spend the little extra and get the private tour. Our guide (Giacomo) was very knowledgeable and we saw all of the major sites. He customized the narrative of the tour to our interests. The walk was at a relaxed pace and not strenuous.

The mosaics were stunning! I’ve seen the gold posh, over-kill of many cathedrals. This experience was moving because of the obvious intimacy of its creation.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience very good. We would definitely recommend the private tour.
The mosaics were magnificent! Had an amazing lunch (sea food, of course!). Luciana, our guide, was the best! Extremely knowledgeable and fun! Ravenna is quaint and pretty. Absolutely loved this experience.
We were very impressed with the tour and mosaics. The guide, whose name I don't recall, was very patient with us stopping to look at stores etc. She was very knowledgeable and described the symbolism in each site. The walk was very easy as well. Our cruise was diverted from Venice. I thought might be disappointing, but the mosaics were very impressive and it is amazing how vibrant they remain for their age.
Cinzia provided excellent historical information on the Ravenna sites we visited and the era during which they were constructed. However, she seemed distracted or somewhat disengaged in her relaying information, and placed/received numerous phone calls during our 4.5 hours together. It was a hot day, which may account for some of this, but we were puzzled by her behavior.
Luciana our guide was so very great! She was full of deep information about the wonderful sites of Ravenna! Bascilica di San Vitale, Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo and several other breathtaking places!! We are very happy!!
Beautiful day. Thanks to the very expert explanation of the guide, we were able to enjoy the wonderful mosaics on top. The guide was very knowledgeable, spoke clear French and gave us plenty of time to look around and take pictures. Moreover, Ravenna is a beautiful and cozy city, nice to stroll around.
