Questo tour è il preferito dai clienti più attivi. Trascorriamo una giornata godendoci la fauna selvatica locale, la cultura, il cibo e le bevande. La sezione della foresta pluviale può includere camminate leggere e facili fino a 1 ora, quindi un'escursione molto più attiva per la seconda ora, se lo si desidera. L'opzione di prezzo standard è per i tour di gruppo di una nave da crociera. Se preferisci un tour privato o non viaggi su una nave da crociera, seleziona l'opzione tour privato al momento della prenotazione. Questo tour ci porterà lungo la strada costiera principale a Manta, allo storico mercato del pesce, alla base dell'economia locale e al tradizionale cantiere di legno proprio sulla spiaggia. La vita quotidiana dei pescatori non è cambiata molto nelle generazioni e gli enormi scheletri di legno dei pescherecci in costruzione sono davvero impressionanti.
Gli orari di inizio si adatteranno all'arrivo della nave. La prima tappa è un viaggio nella verde abbondanza della foresta pluviale Pacoche. Appartato nel microclima umido, questo parco nazionale ospita un'immensa varietà di uccelli, scimmie e ogni sorta di fauna selvatica locale. La tua guida si unirà a un residente locale qui per aiutare a evidenziare tutti i luoghi e suoni interessanti. La passeggiata dura 2 ore, con la prima ora molto facile per lo più terreno pianeggiante con alcuni gradini con ringhiera in bambù. La seconda parte è un po 'più impegnativa mentre attraversiamo alcuni terreni rocciosi e cari tracciati locali lungo e attraverso piccoli corsi d'acqua. I piedi probabilmente si bagneranno qui. I tipi meno avventurosi possono tornare indietro a metà strada e incontrarci con noi e il traguardo sul bus.
Famoso come un terreno fertile per le tartarughe marine, durante i mesi invernali, possiamo spesso vedere le uova schiudersi e le tartarughine che lottano verso il surf. Torneranno 40 anni più tardi dopo aver raggiunto l'età riproduttiva. Questa meravigliosa cittadina è la patria di vari espatriati che hanno realizzato il loro sogno di vivere e lavorare in paradiso. Possiamo ottenere un pasto tradizionale nei ristoranti e bar sulla spiaggia. Vedrai un sacco di piatti strani che sono davvero gustosi. Raccomandiamo le Tongas.

Successivamente, viaggeremo verso la casa dei famosi Panama Hat, Montecristi. Protetto ai piedi del Landmark Mountain è la città che ha dato vita a questi sombreros molte generazioni fa. Una volta nel centro della piccola città, la guida ti mostrerà i laboratori e i negozi di cappelli di Panama oltre a una grande varietà di prodotti artigianali locali. Possiamo anche vedere alcuni degli ultimi esempi della tradizionale architettura in legno nella piazza centrale vicino alla cattedrale.

Verremo a prendervi e vi lasceremo al Porto per le escursioni a terra. L'orario di inizio del tour può essere modificato per adattarsi a qualsiasi nave da crociera. Vi aspetteremo al terminal passeggeri del porto della nave da crociera con le nostre uniformi rosse Manta Tour Guide e le carte nominative a portata di mano. Proprio fuori dal cancello di arrivo. Il terminal passeggeri è un piccolo edificio moderno. Ci vedrete subito. Possiamo anche organizzare pick-up da qualsiasi luogo a Manta e dintorni. Our small group was lead by a wonderful English speaking guide. First went to Montecristi to experience a Master Hat maker in action, then onto a small eco coffee farm in the rainforest, followed by beach side lunch and ending with a local chocolatier’s shop/demo. Learned so much about Ecuador, its history, the people and the culture.

Our Manta guide, Maria, was great. She met us at the port terminal, and took us to the Rainforest Preserve first. Our guide at the reserve was so knowledgeable, and he and Maria were willing to go at the slow pace we needed. Maria told us about every place we were going to visit before we went, and she gave us the choice of where to go for lunch. She took us to Monticristi to enjoy a Panama Hat making presentation without big sales pressure. While driving to each place, Maria told us a lot about the history and culture of the area. Maria gave us some Ecuadorian snacks and a souvenir of our visit.

We booked this tour in German as a foursome and received confirmation for it. Later we received a message, the tour is in English, a German speaking guide would cost an extra 100 dollars. We didn't agree and did the tour in English to even have a trip. I've never seen anything like this before. The trip was quite okay, we could have done without the coffee shop and the snack booth on the beach at the end.

Deutschsprachige Reiseleiter können zwar organisiert werden, aber nicht so schnell. Ich empfehle Ihnen daher, zukünftige Touren, insbesondere in kleineren lateinamerikanischen Häfen, im Voraus zu buchen. So können sich die lokalen Anbieter in Ruhe auf Ihre Wünsche vorbereiten.
juan and Kelly were the best! First , he was clear from the start that if someone needed to stop he was flexible. He brought, water, snacks and a souvenir for each of us. At the hat factory he guided us gently and was so helpful. He found a great restaurant to eat lunch!

Easy pick up at the cruise terminal. Juan and Kelly were great guides. They made sure we were comfortable and provided lots of information about the area. Fish market was fascinating and remarkably clean. The rainforest walk was good, quite hot, and no monkeys to be seen. We enjoyed the hat making demonstration at Montechristi and chose to buy one, of course. Bus was ok, but you cannot see forward, only side windows, so the long drive made some of us a bit motion sick! Lunch stop on the beach was very good fresh seafood. Our day with Juan was a very good intro to Ecuador!

Juan and his niece Kelly were trying Hard to please us, but the trip was average: the fish market and the Panama hat making were interesting, the wildlife walk in pachoke nice, but disappointing as we saw no animals, the lunch was chaotic and the chocolate factory was a total disaster, also we skipped the lighthouse.

I spent my day in Manta with Marcos and his driver - can’t say enough about how great they were. Marcos had lots in information about his country and was passionate about sharing it. They took me all over! We saw many beautiful beaches, hat making in Montecristi and the church, a great cup of coffee and tour at a peaceful farm in the rain forest. As a solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable with Marcos. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience in Manta with Juan as our tour guide. Juan was bilingual in English and Spanish, and constantly checked on what we all wanted to do. He often took votes for consensus.

For the 5 of us, we have Judy @ manta tours as our private tour guide and a dedicated Van driver. Judy is very experience and very friendly. We beat the crowd every step of the way, had a local seafood lunch and all come home with our Ecuador made Panama hats just like President Roosevelt. It was a perfect day.
