Il Parco naturale di Cantareira è una delle aree forestali più grandi e conservate nel perimetro urbano del mondo e ti invita a fare l'affascinante Macuco Trail e Waterfall Trail, presso Engordador Nucleus. Oltre ai sentieri, visitiamo anche il vecchio sistema di approvvigionamento idrico della città di San Paolo, elencato come patrimonio storico, che comprende i complessi "Casa da Bomba" e Cantareira Dam. Eccellente tour per gli amanti della natura che cercano un momento per rilassarsi vicino a una grande città.

Itinerario
Arrivando al Parco Naturale di Cantareira, faremo una visita alla Sede del Parco dove visiteremo il Centro di Interpretazione della fauna e della flora del Parco. Dopo le visite inizieremo il Macuco and Waterfall Trail e poi visiteremo il complesso che faceva parte del primo sistema di approvvigionamento idrico della città di San Paolo; Prima dell'attività, la guida ti spiegherà alcune istruzioni di sicurezza e condotta durante la passeggiata e poi inizieremo il Macuco Trail, lungo circa 1 km, dove osserveremo alcune specie di fauna e flora della regione; Poi continueremo per il Sentiero delle Cascate, lungo circa 4 km, dove attraverseremo il fiume Engordador in diversi punti con soste per le foto e la possibilità di fare il bagno in 2 diverse cascate, le cascate "Engordador" e "Cachoeira Véu da Noiva"; Al ritorno dalle escursioni, abbiamo visitato il belvedere della diga e il complesso Pump House, un vecchio sistema di approvvigionamento idrico di San Paolo dove abbiamo concluso l'attività.
La seconda parte della nostra escursione si svolgerà al Núcleo Pedra Grande dove cammineremo per circa 8 km visitando il lago koi e avendo come punto più alto del tour sarà sulla Pedra Grande (The Big Stone), è un punto di vista con un splendida vista della città di San Paolo. L'attività termina presso la sede del parco da dove torneremo a San Paolo.

Mauricio was an excellent guide and the tout was wonderful - we have seen a lot of beautiful birds, butterflies, trees - the nature was very beautiful and tropical - and I liked very much. The hiking was also easy to do. I am recommending this tour to everybody coming to Sao Paolo

Absolutely amazing experience!! The hike, the caves, the waterfall, the flora and fauna - every moment was splendid. It was not crowded so that made it so much better. Samuel our tour guide was exceptional. He was knowledgeable and guided us at the right pace. Highly recommend!

Booked 48 hours out & had confirmation and booking numbers. We called and left messages to this company via WhatsApp and through Viators chat system. They wouldn’t return messages or calls. We just wanted to know who was picking us up since it was our 1st time in Brazil. At 1:AM the morning of the trip, this company sends a cancellation and said it was Viators fault cause Viator didn’t send them the confirmation number. But we supplied them all of the info via chat and WhatsApp days before the trip. Anyway, they blamed viator but didn’t know that I had a viator rep also try to call them and they never responded. I’m sorry but any company that won’t return messages after a customer purchasing their tour, shouldn’t be trusted. I don’t know if the company is lying or viator but I do know that I have the company the confirmation and booking number and when they received that info, if thwy did t know that I bought it , should’ve just asked questions from all of the calls and WhatsApp messages and text I had sent them a few days before the trip. Let’s be real, who doesn’t respond to their customers for over 2 days? Now we can’t book anything because the company decided to cancel at 1am the morning of the trip. That’s not reliable or trusting. After all this mess, I wouldn’t even feel comfortable going with them on a trip because someone is lying about what happened and I feel they just didn’t care about responding about our reservation. DONT TAKE YOUR FAMILY ON A TOUR WITH A COMPANY THAT CANT BE TRUSTED! In a way I’m glad I found out the way that I did. Book some Other tour with a different company other than VIATOR or Vida e Energia Viagens e Turismo! Just don’t bother. March 3, 2024

Mauricio our wonderful and extremely knowledgeable tour guide looked at us and knew we weren’t prepared for the tour we signed up for and kindly offered us a private city tour which was outstanding. His knowledge of São Paulo and insight saved the entire trip for us. Best tour guide ever!
