Con più di 260 chilometri di piste ciclabili, Barcellona è una città molto "bike friendly" da visitare. Partendo dallo storico "Quartiere Gotico", poi viaggiando verso il quartiere "Eixample" che è stato costruito in seguito alla demolizione delle mura medievali della città, proseguiamo verso il Villaggio Olimpico, pedalando lungo la bellissima costa di Barcellona fino a Port Vell (il vecchio porto). Unisciti a me per un viaggio emozionante, divertente e informativo. Mentre scopri la maggior parte dei luoghi più noti di Barcellona, imparerai anche la storia della città, lo sviluppo urbano, l'architettura e il paesaggio politico. Le creazioni "da non perdere" di Antoni Gaudí, la straordinaria Sagrada Familia, Casa Milà (conosciuta anche come "La Pedrera") e Casa Batlló saranno i punti salienti di questo tour.

Questo è il nostro punto di incontro e una delle piazze più belle di Barcellona, se non la più bella. Al suo centro sorge la notevole Fontana delle Tre Grazie, e nelle vicinanze, si possono ammirare due lampioni unici progettati dallo stesso Antoni Gaudí.
Una bella piazza che funge da cuore politico della città, sede sia del Municipio di Barcellona (Ajuntament) che del Palazzo del Governo Catalano (Palau de la Generalitat).
La Cattedrale di Santa Croce e Sant'Eulalia è un magnifico capolavoro medievale. Proprio all'esterno sulla piazza, si possono ammirare anche imponenti resti delle antiche mura romane che un tempo proteggevano la città.
Una famosa e spettacolare sala da concerto modernista progettata da Lluís Domènech i Montaner, un architetto chiave contemporaneo di Antoni Gaudí. Questo edificio mozzafiato è stato dichiarato Patrimonio dell'Umanità dall'UNESCO nel 1997.
Situato sul Passeig de Gràcia, il viale più elegante della città, questo è il blocco più prestigioso del modernismo catalano. Qui si possono ammirare tre capolavori architettonici affiancati: Casa Batlló (di Antoni Gaudí), Casa Amatller (di Josep Puig i Cadafalch) e Casa Lleó i Morera (di Lluís Domènech i Montaner).

Costruito come la grande porta d'ingresso per la prima Esposizione Mondiale di Barcellona nel 1888. Si trova all'inizio del Passeig de Lluís Companys, che conduce direttamente al Parco della Ciutadella dove si trovavano i padiglioni espositivi.
Un tempo sito di una fortezza militare, questo bellissimo parco è stato paesaggistico alla fine del XIX secolo ed è diventato lo spazio verde più popolare della città. Durante il nostro giro, scopriremo la sua cascata monumentale, il lago panoramico in barca a remi, il campo da parata storico (Plaça d'Armes) e gli edifici sopravvissuti della vecchia cittadella.
Costruito e sviluppato per i Giochi Olimpici del 1992, questo quartiere è stato il catalizzatore per aprire Barcellona al mare. Oggi, offre un giro panoramico e ventilato lungo il lungomare trasformato e il porto moderno.
Un giro attraverso La Barceloneta, un tempo un tradizionale quartiere di pescatori e operai che rimane incredibilmente vivace e pittoresco oggi.
Oggi porto turistico di lusso che ospita alcuni dei superyacht più costosi del mondo, questa zona si trova su quello che un tempo era il vecchio porto commerciale della città. Offre una splendida e ampia vista su tutto il porto storico.

Great tour with Jean-Pierre, very well-suited to children and adults, and to what we wanted to do based on what we had already seen…. Jean-Pierre is a guide who knows Barcelona by heart and is passionate about its history. He tells stories very well and also helps us find our way around the city! Jean Pierre is an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable. My family were the only people for this tour and he was flexible for minor customizations that we requested. 3 hour tour without getting physically tired for the rest of the day, made it really worthwhile

Absolutely wonderful tour and history of Barcelona! Jon Pierre is a wealth of knowledge. The bicycling is very low energy and can be enjoyed by all! This is a must!!! Tour busses can’t even begin to show you what this tour offers!

Take this tour, it’s a delightful experience! Jean-Pierre is a wealth of knowledge about Barcelona and a patient, joy filled guide. Our group of 4 met him at an easy to find plaza, picked up bikes and saw more sites in a few hours than most would see in several days. Upon request, he even veered off the standard tour to show us the beach. A fantastic finish to our day. Thank you Jean Pierre for taking such pride and joy in sharing your city with us.

What an absolute pleasure! My son and I were the only ones taking the tour on this hot Saturday in July, and we had the most wonderful time. We literally saw all the major sites of Barcelona and zipped through the streets with our guy, Jean Pierre, who is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We love bike tours because you get to see so much more than a walking tour, and your feet don’t get tired. Jean Pierre was FABULOUS- he had extensive knowledge of the city, its history and architecture. He kept just the right pace with the ride and the comments at each stop. If you’ve never done a bike tours, you need to do this one. If you’ve never done have done bike tours, you still need to do this one- and if you’re lucky, you’ll get Jean Pierre.
