Il punto d'incontro è di fronte al McDonald's, vicino al molo Tonsai a Koh Phi Phi Don. Sali a bordo della barca e dirigiti a Monkey Bay, una piccola baia circondata dalla giungla dove lo snorkeling è eccellente con acqua limpida e una grande varietà di pesci colorati. Gli affascinanti macachi dalla coda lunga si arrampicano lungo la parete rocciosa per venire a salutare le barche e i turisti. È molto probabile che li vedrai, ma ovviamente non possiamo garantirlo. La Grotta dei Vichinghi è uno dei siti naturali più singolari di Koh Phi Phi Leh. La grotta è stata così chiamata, a causa dei disegni preistorici che sono stati trovati sulle pareti della grotta che ricordano antiche navi vichinghe. Si ritiene che questi disegni siano stati realizzati da zingari del mare o pirati che si fermavano qui per ripararsi dalle tempeste monsoniche. Pileh Lagoon o Phileh Bay è uno dei siti più impressionanti di Koh Phi Phi Leh. La laguna è circondata da rocce giganti e l'acqua all'interno di questa bellissima laguna è delle acque azzurre più cristalline che tu abbia mai visto. È molto bassa e il fondale è costituito da sabbia bianca e fine che scivola appena tra le dita dei piedi. La laguna di Pileh è un posto meraviglioso per fare snorkeling. Ci dirigiamo verso il prossimo punto di snorkeling, Maya Bay. Con la sua spiaggia sabbiosa, la giungla e le ripide scogliere calcaree, Maya Bay è la spiaggia più famosa di Phi Phi. È il luogo in cui è stato girato il film d'avventura del 2000 "The Beach" con Leonardo DiCaprio. - Come da decisione governativa, Maya Bay sarà chiusa annualmente dal 1 agosto al 30 settembre per consentire il ripristino naturale dell'area. Durante questo periodo, tutte le altre località dell'itinerario rimangono accessibili, e più tempo sarà dedicato a nuotare e fare snorkeling.
- Per quanto riguarda la sosta a Monkey Bay: bisogna sempre ricordare che, in ogni caso, le scimmie sono animali selvatici, non animali domestici. Anche se possono sembrare carini, soprattutto i più piccoli, consigliamo sempre di mantenere le distanze, di non portare con sé alcun cibo e di tenere tutte le vostre cose nella borsa. This was such a fun half day trip visiting the highlights of Phi Phi Island! We saw several monkeys on Monkey Island, cruised through some beautiful scenery and finished with snorkeling in the beautiful and clear water! We also visited Maya Island but it was so crowded with long lines to walk to the beach on the other side, which you’re not allowed to get into the water at and also pay a National Park fee to visit so I would skip this part. Other than that, we had a great time!

We really enjoyed this tour. The sights were breathtaking! The tour guide is helpful in assisting you on getting on and off the boat at the stops. Doesn’t give you a tour guide as such. It didn’t bother us as we were just so taken by the gorgeous sights.

The tour of the Phi Phi islands was great. It was just me and my daughter, so we had time to enjoy all of the sights without the crowds that we saw on the other boats. Manus, our tour guide, was really friendly and made sure that we knew where we were going and what to do when we got there. It had been raining that morning, so Maya Bay was empty. Definitely a good choice if you want to see the islands.

Me and my wife really enjoyed this experience as it was only us and another couple on the longtail which felt a lot more relaxed. Our guide was really nice and spoke a little English but took to us all the places on our itenary and let our small group tell him how long we wanted to stay rather than being given specific times as would be with a large boat tour of the Island. Phi Phi is stunning and would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for a 4-5hr tour of the islands and some amazing snorkelling!

Amazing experience! I was the only person on the boat, and everything was smooth and perfectly organized from start to finish.
