Se hai mai desiderato fare il tuo cioccolato o imparare tutte le meravigliose complessità e processi coinvolti nella preparazione del dolce preferito al mondo, questa è la classe che fa per te! In 2 ore viaggerete nel tempo: dalla storia dell'albero, ai miti, fino al ruolo molto reale e importante che cacao e cioccolato hanno avuto nelle culture della Mesoamérica. E naturalmente farai anche del cioccolato. Dalla prova della frutta cruda (quando disponibile), alla tostatura, macinazione e separazione del guscio dai pennini, lavorerai proprio come un professionista che produce cioccolato premiato. Imparerai alcuni degli incredibili usi medicinali del cioccolato prima di realizzare la tua ‘medicina’ al cioccolato da portare a casa. Infine, temperare il cioccolato fuso appena versato e fare la propria barretta per avvolgere e gustare in seguito. Ci sono tour del cioccolato in tutto il mondo, ma questa è una vera esperienza pratica - otterrai il cioccolato su di te! Una classe divertente e deliziosa!

Owner/teacher has incredible knowledge of the cacao history in Puerto Viejo. The class was hands on bringing us through the cacao pod process to making our own chocolate bars. I highly recommend this class! Such fun!

We had a great experience! It started a little slow as she had locked keys inside, and we had to wait for someone to bring keys, but we learned a lot and had a good time. Ansel (sp?) is very knowledgable! And we got to make our own chocolate! Thank you, Ansel!
