This was a wonderful experience. The directions to find our tour guide was super simple and everyone knew Rufo so they pointed us right to him. Rufo took us all around the city and explained the different areas. The rum factory was really fun for adults. If you’re into Jurassic Park you’ll see bug’s in amber crystallization at the local museum. My son’s favorite part was the chocolate factory. Overall it was a great experience.

Our hotel offered the same tour with other people but only available 3 days a week. So happy we found this one as they were available any day any time. Loved the intimate experience as we had our driver Enma with us for the whole time in a very comfortable car with ac. He explained it all the culture to us and was as excited as we were. Rosada Carras Street or Rosado Alley is a historic and symbolic place. It was built in honor of an Italian lady named Doña Blanca, who was the first to bring tourism to Puerto Plata.
