Puerto Montt: intera giornata sull'isola di Chiloe visitando i pinguini a Puñihuil

In questo tour di 10 ore visiteremo una bellissima colonia di pinguini, oltre alla magica isola di Chiloé. Questo tour parte ogni giorno, al mattino presto da Puerto Montt.

Itinerario
Iniziamo il tour nel nostro modo di Pargua, a sud della città di Puerto Varas; qui saliremo a bordo di un traghetto per navigare attraverso il Canale Chacao, questo canale separa il continente dall'isola di Chiloé. Durante la navigazione vediamo lupi di mare, pellicani e uccelli marini endemici in questa zona. I traghetti attraccano al molo di Chacao, qui vediamo le case costruite con legno di Alerce e le chiese che sono patrimonio nazionale.
poi proseguiamo lungo un percorso costiero e visiteremo la spiaggia di Caulín, un posto molto famoso per le ostriche e una ricca fauna marina.
andremo alla spiaggia di Puñihuil; lì prendiamo una barca, che ci porterà in una piccola isola dove troviamo il pinguino magallanes e il pinguino di Humboldt, questo è il luogo in cui queste due specie fanno i loro nidi, durante generazioni hanno convissuto insieme, rendendo queste isole l'unico posto nel mondo in cui ciò accade La guida ci spiegherà il modo di vivere di questi uccelli, i dintorni e l'abbondanza di cibo che rende possibile che queste isole diventino un paradiso selvaggio. È importante dire che il Puñihuil è stato dichiarato Patrimonio Nazionale per la sua rilevanza ecologica.
Il forte di San Antonio; questo luogo storico si trova nella parte più alta della città, costruita nell'ultima parte del XVIII secolo e fa parte di una delle ultime fortificazioni spagnole nel nostro paese,
Continuando il nostro viaggio verso la città di Ancud, dove possiamo vedere la Fondazione delle chiese locali, la piazza principale e il mercato centrale, questa offre molte opzioni gastronomiche e artigianali dell'isola.

Excellent tour to the island of Chiloe. Great - if distant- views of the Andes. Interesting towns. Penguins and other birdlife. Delicious lunch. Outstanding guide.
Right on time for pickup, Jenny made small modifications to the order of the tour to get us the best opportunities for the best experience. Jenny speaks fluent English and kept her English speaking passengers well informed with information and local atories. Alex kept us safe on the road.
We had a very good experience on the tour, everything very beautiful, the guide very clear when explaining and the journey times were punctual
Stop in small town was cute. Advise to wear warm and waterproof clothing for the penguin portion - you transfer to a small boat. You do have the option to leave things on the bus which is nice. The food you have to pay for due to no other options was not good - bring snacks. The last stop was unnecessary in a town that was mostly shut down. The bus itself was very very very nice and comfortable.
Chiloe Island visiting Penguins in Puñihuil was a fantastic day out led by Jenny. Jenny kept us fully informed of all the activates and had very good customer service. Her organisation skills were second to none and i / we can fully recommend this amazing day out.
We could see the penguins very close. During the ferry I could see 3 seals. Lunch was good and at a very fair price with dessert and coffee. Overall a long trip and Jenny talks continuously throughout the journey
Was a great day.. The tour guide (Jenny) was FANTASTIC.. very personable, easy to understand, very informative and flexible with folks who ran a little late..
This was a great excursion, and it was a very comfortable and not too exhausting. There is a lot to see in Chiloe, and the tour guide did a great job of making sure everything was clear. The penguins were great and adorable, and every stop was worthwhile.
Probably an 8.5/10. Good communication to arrange pick up and then the evening before. Fun boat ride and interesting to see the penguins on their islands. First stop in a quaint village square and good views from the last stop at the fort. Good to see some of the island, but inevitably quite a lot of driving and didn’t see the need for a second craft shopping experience. Need to factor in the boat trip and lunch costs, although these were mentioned beforehand. Think the info. beforehand also mentioned a max. of 14 in the group, but this doubled.
Even though the distance that I needed to travel was quite long, the others were increíble. The guys(Javier, Eric) were super friendly, penguins were extremely cute and the overall of Chiloe was more than I expected. Highly recommend
