La Caldera - 30 minuti L'Area Ricreativa La Caldera si trova negli altopiani di La Orotava, appena oltre il quartiere di Aguamansa. È una delle aree ricreative più complete del nord di Tenerife, attirando un gran numero di visitatori tutto l'anno. La Caldera offre diversi servizi, tra cui parcheggio, un bar-ristorante, un ampio parco giochi, servizi pubblici (senza docce), barbecue, tavoli e un'area campeggio. Questa zona ricreativa è il punto di partenza per numerosi sentieri nei dintorni. Altitudine: 1000 metri.
Corre lungo il Sentiero Siete Cañadas, una sezione dello storico Cammino Real de Chasna, che un tempo collegava le regioni sul versante meridionale dell'isola con la Valle dell'Orotava a nord. Si tratta di un sentiero pianeggiante con poche salite o discese che costeggia un ampio tratto della parete interna del Circo de las Cañadas, tra le brusche scarpate e i calanchi delle eruzioni più recenti, attraverso le molteplici pianure sedimentarie o cañadas che danno il nome al sentiero. Un percorso esteso che, lungo i suoi 16 chilometri, ci offrirà paesaggi vulcanici di grande bellezza e interesse geologico, impreziositi dalla flora endemica colorfoul (soprattutto in primavera) e ornati dall’onnipresente vulcano Teide.
1 - Ora – Monte Teide Questo breve tour ti mette faccia a faccia con uno dei luoghi più spettacolari delle Isole Canarie: il Monte Teide, la cima più alta della Spagna e il cuore del Parco Nazionale del Teide. Proprio alla base di un gigante Sarete ai piedi di questo antico vulcano, circondati da un paesaggio surreale modellato da secoli di eruzioni. Da questo punto di osservazione, si può apprezzare appieno l'altezza di 3.715 metri (12.188 piedi) del Teide che svetta sopra di voi - è come guardare un altro pianeta. Campi di lava & terreno lunare Il terreno sotto i tuoi piedi è composto da colate di lava congelate, strane formazioni rocciose e vivaci colori vulcanici perfetti per la fotografia o semplicemente per immergersi nella vista. Mozzafiato & tranquillo Anche in una breve visita, il silenzio, l'aria fresca e la maestosità del Teide hanno un impatto. This was a great experience. We did not notice it was from the other side of island. Kenneth our guide made arrangments to pick us up for a very fair surcharge. It was well worth it. They even had gloves and jackets which were a must. Really one of best tours we have done!

I booked this tour expecting a good experience, but it was all a great disappointment. First, the description did not indicate that it was mandatory to have a driver’s license, which I found out only after I had paid. Other companies do specify this clearly, but not in this one. After making the reservation (for the morning, as it appeared in the offer), I was informed that they could not do it at that time and that the activity would have to be done in the afternoon, during evening hours, which also has a higher price. Not only that: I was told that I had to pay an extra €130 because they couldn’t offer me the 4-seater buggy with the guide, and that the only option was to do the tour with two 2-seater buggies, with two different guides, and paying €130 extra which totally changed the experience I had contracted with my companion. I tried to cancel the reservation less than an hour after I made it, seeing that it was not possible to make it in the original conditions. Still, they refused to refund the 189€ I paid. I have contacted customer support, explained with evidence what happened (including screenshots), and their only response has been to repeat that they will not return my money. An unprofessional company, which modifies the conditions after purchase, does not inform correctly, and is not responsible. I don't recommend it at all.
Hello Good afternoon, we are really sorry to hear that you are not happy, but as we been professional and available to talk over the phone with you for 1 hour we are going to explain again the situation here. In the description and extra details is clearly stated that you need a driving license, in our message after reservation is clearly stated that you need a driving license, you book an excursion with a veichle Buggy Double for 2 person expecting that someone drive for you, the veichle are drived by customer, but even if we want to help, if you book a double buggy and you are two people where driver should sit? We found a driver that help you with that even if private driver is not included, the buggy four seat have a different cost that should be not paid by us that we got paid for a double buggy. Cancellation within the 24 hours is not possible so we offer a 50% discount on the next ride that is the only things we can do. We hope to see you again.
Recommended experience, tour with various points of interest, the guys available nice and dynamic ready to meet any need. The photos that are taken during the tour are also beautiful! Beautiful, definitely to try!! Highly recommended for both friends, couples or families
The whole experience was so easy to organise! Constant contact from the organisers and owners. Picked up from the hotel and driven to the pickup point! The buggies were fantastically noisy and great fun to drive. We were chaperoned all the way with the lead car stopping traffic along the way. Incredible views as we assented the Volcano and part way up it look like we were in Arizona! The tour guide was polite and gave a talk at the top. Photos were taken and the journey back was fun! Highly recommend this to everyone!
Excellent customer service, first class tour guide, brilliant excursion. I would highly recommend the buggy experience. Left feeling very happy. Had a wonderful time and great value for money. Would do it again. Best buggy company in Tenerife!!!
