Entire afternoon was fun. Pub selection was excellent. Scott was professional, funny, hosting, and all around a great tour guide.

Wow! Where to start…Scott was super friendly and knowledgeable and made this tour so much fun. He went beyond the pub scene and showed us hidden gems in the city and bits of history sprinkled through the afternoon. What a fun way to spend an afternoon. The walking tour gave us a feel for the city and took us down quirky lanes and small streets. Loved learning about Snickleways!! Once Scot shared about them we would freely take them all over! Fun way to get around and explore! The pubs were awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed the beers and enjoyed going to know four different pubs and what makes them special. Scot was a great guide. He made the day special by not only knowing York and its beer scene but sharing about other travels he has been on. I really appreciated that in this tour we had a chance to sit and get to know the other people on the tour. We all shared stories about our travels! I would highly recommend this tour!!

A great way to explore York and find the fun, off-the-beaten-path places that you will want to go back to. All through the tour Scott gave us an entertaining and informative picture of the "real" York. We all enjoyed being with him and he brought everyone into the coversation. It felt like doing an informative pub-crawl with a group of friends, even though we hadn't know each other until the tour.

We had an awesome time and learned a LOT about York. Scott, our tour guide, was incredible. He was very knowledgeable about York and shared cool and informative history and fun stories not only about the pubs we visited but landmarks and out-of-the-way interesting spots as we walked around The City. He gave us insights into the beers at each pub stop to help us decide which one to try. Scott helped our group of 10 to get to know one another which made the tour even more fun. I've been on many walking tours in various cities and rank Scott is at the top of my list of "Best Guide Ever".

Really enjoyable afternoon. Scott's knowledge of the area is exceptional and the stories are engaging. We visited places we wouldn't have found on our own and met some lovely people. The pubs were quirky and interesting. Would highly recommend. Good value for money.

An excellent tour of the city, with some out-the-way points of interest and places I would not have found on my own. The group was 9-10 people and we all got around smoothly, with Scott's guidance. The pubs are very interesting and have unique features, definitely living up to the 'Quirky' title. The stops and information are all useful and Scott clearly loves the city and sharing his knowledge with guests. Great host, and a great tour. Stu and Sean
