Tour della grotta di Prometeo e del canyon Martvili da Kutaisi

Il monumento naturale della grotta di Prometeo si trova nel comune di Tskaltubo, nella regione di Imereti. Ecco bellissime stalattiti e stalagmiti vecchie di milioni di anni. Il Canyon Naturale di Martvili si trova nel comune di Martvili. Visitatore centro: Villaggio “Inchkhuri”. 700m. Il percorso circolare in pietra parte dal centro visite e prosegue lungo il percorso storico Dadiani. Sono presenti 2 ponti, 3 piattaforme panoramiche, una scala storica di 30 gradini costruita dal grande masso di pietra calcarea. I visitatori possono passeggiare in barca sul fiume "Abasha" a 300 m. lunga distanza e goditi il piacere di osservare lo splendido paesaggio del Canyon.

La grotta di Prometeo dista 1,4 km. In Cave c'è una bellissima stalattite e stalagmite, canottaggio sotterraneo. È un posto fantastico
Ci sono 2 ponti, 3 piattaforme panoramiche, una scala storica di 30 gradini costruita dal grande masso calcareo. I visitatori possono passeggiare in barca sul fiume "Abasha" 300 m. lunga distanza e goditi il piacere di vedere lo splendido paesaggio del Canyon.

We didn’t join the tour from the beginning, as we didn’t wake up in time, but the tour operator was kind enough to allow us to join the next day to access the full experience. We couldn’t make it the next day, as we had another tour booked so we decided to take a bolt to Prometheus cave and meet the tour there. I was in touch with the guide the while time, he was very kind to inform us on where/ how we needed to proceed to be able to still access what was left of the tour. Prometheus cave is a must I think, if you are close to Kutaisi. We ended up asking the guide to leave us near the Medea Center (halfway from Prometheus to Kutaisi), just to explore a little bit better the surroundings.
The trip to the Canyon and the Prometheus Cave was exceptional. The meeting point is easy to find right at the centre of Kutaisi. The Tour guide was very professional, knew english very Well, and helped us to be the very first at each activity. Totally recommended!
The trip is well organized with good careful driver and informative guide Sam who explains everything to 9 of us and super helpful with patience. He is passionate about this whole day trip and takes good care of us.
The valley and waterfalls are nice but the grotto disappointed me. Groups to enter the cave can be up to 60 people, which means you won't be able to hear the explanations. I also don't understand why the cave is so famous.

The attractions were well chosen, and the Prometheus Cave was truly impressive. The ride was comfortable with air conditioning and even some local chacha to try. The day flew by. Highly recommended!

The Martvilli zip line and the canyon were under-whelming, mainly because the boat ride hardly covered any distance & the zip line was also a very short ride. Prometheus caves were good. Our guide, George, was great!

The trip was organized very professionally. Zura's guide is the best I've ever seen. He knew and arranged everything. At our request, he organized a tour of the winery and bathing in thermal springs.
