Lo Sri Lanka è uno dei posti migliori al mondo per osservare i delfini e le balene. Soprattutto l'animale mammifero più grande del mondo, è la balenottera azzurra. Lo Sri Lanka accoglie centinaia di turisti ogni anno per osservare i magici delfini e le balene. La maggior parte delle specie di delfini e balene riconosciute al mondo nelle acque di SL. Great Whales è un programma educativo di un'ora di balene e delfini nelle acque di SL. È ottimo per i viaggiatori, famiglie con bambini, giovani, adulti e anziani che desiderano migliorare la conoscenza generale dei delfini e delle balene. I viaggiatori possono acquistare souvenir unici di design locale e di balene e delfini. Grandi Balene si trova a Matara. Si trova a 30 minuti di viaggio da uno dei più famosi punti di osservazione di delfini e balene, Mirissa e dalla spiaggia di Mirissa, e a 15 minuti dalla spiaggia di Polhena. Il programma educativo è condotto dalla signora A.H.Deepika Kumari, che è uno dei primi membri di W e D a guardare in SL. Ha più di 12 anni di esperienza nel settore dell'osservazione W&D.

We were book Great Whales education programme month of May 2025. At that time live Dolphins and Whales watching by boat was not operating due to bad weather conditions. The according to our understanding Great Whales education programme was improve our knowledge about Whales and Dolphins . We were happy to not distribe natural behavior of intelligent main mammals.Because some of boat operators did not concern the animal natural behavior . We booked Great Whales education programme on line . The staff send What app message and ask about time and we were confirm time , but that date we were unable to organized our transport. We were inform , they were like to change time according to our requirement and inform they will provide free transport for us Weligama to Matara. It was great help for us. Great Whales education programme very useful for us and Ms Deepika was answer our all the questions about Whales and Dolphins. We Booked Great Whales Education Programmed Dolphins And Whales In Sri Lanka. According to Our Understanding it was better than live Dolphins and Whales Watching By Boat, Because currently Dolphins and Whales sightings were not good. We didn't want to waste our time without good sighting, specially biggest Blue Whales. This was excellent opportunity for us improve our knowledge about this wonderful animals. We went live Dolphins and Whales watching in Mirissa and that date there were no sightings of Whales and Dolphins and we were not happy about over crowed boat that date we didn't receive information about Dolphins and Whales.We were really interested about this magical animals.
