BEL E DIVERTENTE TOUR A PIEDI PER ESPLORARE L'AFFASCANTE QUARTIERE DI BORDEAUX CON IL NOSTRO SOMMELIER INTERNO CON DEGUSTAZIONE DI VINI E FORMAGGI. Questo tour è progettato dal nostro sommelier ed esperto di vini interno. Ti accompagnerà a fare una passeggiata attraverso le strade dei commercianti di vino UNESCO, molti dei quali hanno 300 anni. Cammineremo per quasi un'ora alla scoperta del quartiere di Chartrons e del lungofiume di Bordeaux, conoscendo i diversi vitigni utilizzati a Bordeaux, le importanti regioni vinicole, come ritirare una bottiglia al supermercato o al ristorante, cos'è la classificazione del 1855, come leggere un'etichetta da professionista, i monumenti storici del comprensorio e molto altro ancora! Alla fine del tour metteremo tutte le conoscenze teoriche in pratica "imparando degustando"... Saluti!! Itinerario
Iniziamo il nostro tour nel cuore di Chartrons, conosciuta anche come Old Wine Merchant Street. Situato sul "Port de la lune" (il nome francese per Port of Moon) è anche un soprannome di Bordeaux risalente al 17° secolo. Oggi sono tutti patrimonio mondiale dell'Unesco.
Goditi la splendida vista sul fiume Garonna, mentre scopri il suo porto e il commercio del vino.
Stando in riva al fiume vedrai da lontano uno dei ponti più antichi di Bordeaux, il "Pont de Pierre", costruito per Napoleone Bonaparte e risalente all'inizio del XIX secolo. Impareremo la connessione tra vino e re. Si prega di notare che il monumento non sarà visitato da vicino.
Guardando verso nord di Bordeaux possiamo scorgere da lontano un altro importante ponte. Rimarrai sorpreso di conoscere la straordinaria tecnologia utilizzata per creare questo ponte dall'aspetto fantastico. Qui conosceremo anche le nuove tecnologie utilizzate nella produzione dei vini. Si prega di notare che il monumento non sarà visitato da vicino.
Una delle chiese più iconiche di Bordeaux. Vedrai la bellezza della chiesa e imparerai la storia dietro di essa.
Potremo individuare anche il più grande museo mondiale di esposizione del vino lungo il fiume a nord. Qui imparerai a conoscere le regioni vinicole e i vitigni mentre ammiri in lontananza la bellezza del Museo del 21° secolo. Si prega di notare che il monumento non sarà visitato da vicino.
Vedremo una casa gemella "Maisons Jumelles" in inglese. Un tempo vissuta da un commerciante di vino straniero. L'importanza degli stranieri nel commercio del vino di Bordeaux.

We were lucky enough to be the only participants with our three group and therefore get an exclusive tour. The small tour of the neighborhood was very informative. Our guide Adrian was very nice and open-minded. Since the weather was quite rainy, the tour was quite close and we are quickly to the wine bar. There Adrian told us a lot about the Bordeaux wines and there were 4 wines (2x red, 2x white) tasted. For us it was just in the right detail and we enjoyed the tour.

I love Viator as you get to meet such lovely and knowledgeable experts like Adrian. We spent a good half hour touring the old part of Bordeaux and then around an hour tasting wine, while Adrian explain the finer points of the region, the grapes, how to match wine with food. Thoroughly recommend the tour, lovely guide, took the time to answer our questions fully and point out places we should visit. 👍🏻🍷
Enjoyed our walking tour with Pascale and discovered some lovely streets/areas we might not otherwise have visited. The wine & cheese tasting was delicious - so much so that we went back the next night for dinner! Would recommend this for a casual, fun and informative way to spend a few hours exploring beautiful Bordeaux

He is very knowledgeable on the history of Bordeaux, and as a sommelier, he took us on a wonderful walk while explaining the wine regions, the grapes grown in this region, and much more. We took a day trip from Paris to Bordeaux for the Wine and Cheese Tasting walking tour, and we were so glad we did! We met Ani several minutes early at the designated meeting point and went from there. Ani is very knowledgeable on the history of Bordeaux, mixing tales of the past with the history and science of wine, doing it all with a fantastic sense of humor!
