Inizierai in una pasticceria storica per gustare un dolce stagionale. Seguirà una visita ad una gastronomia di oltre 180 anni, qui assaggeremo due tipi di prosciutto iberico, formaggio manchego e olio extra vergine di oliva. Pranzerai con un classico panino con calamari fritti, uno dei preferiti dei locali. Mangeremo una tapa eccezionale e condivideremo una bottiglia di sidro spagnolo. Assaggia un vermut con la tapa del giorno, una delle preferite dalla gente del posto. Termina il tour all'interno di un ristorante che si trova all'interno di un edificio del XVIII secolo con un pezzo di frittata spagnola e il piatto segreto che cambia ogni giorno.

An amazing experience in itself with the very capable and knowledgeable guide Jorge Ortega. Not only were we treated to the flavors and stories of Madrid but we were also lucky to witness the Fiesta de la Trashumancia , which I have been calling the the running of the sheep.

Had a fun time with lots of local history and good food stops. Plenty food and drink. It was a lot of walking but welcomed between food stops. Vermut was surprisingly good. The calamari sandwich was surprisingly good and a fun local snack. We went to places the locals go.
