Added context and depth to an already beautiful historic site
Omer was a lovely guide, knowledgeable, excellent English, and great at tailoring the experience and pace to our group.
The four of us (two couples) were technically booked for the small group tour but with no one else booked that day (a Monday morning) we effectively got the private option.
Starting early really helped us skip the worst of the crowds (although we got a taste of it as the day went on), and the palace itself is so large with so much history having a guide really helped add context and human touches to the experience. A delightful day in a delightful place, highly recommended.

Wertvoll, extrem interessant und kurzweilig
Our guide Karacebeyhan was very friendly and his explanations of historic developements were very profound and with many details.
He did so in a very interesting and lively manner so the 3 hour tour passed allmost too fast. Thank you very much Karacebeyhan!

Well worth time and money, best guide
Our guide Omer made this tour truly special for us. He was very knowledgeable, gave us not only historical facts, but interesting stories related to the tour. He was kind, patient and friendly. We learned so much from him. The palace is huge, and for the best experience, I recommend taking a guided tour. If you can request Omer, you will be in good hands.

Wonderful experience!!!!
We had a great time. We booked our trip through the Trip Advisor. Our guide REHBER OMER KANAZC was a wonderful person. He was very informative, knowledgeable and professional. We had a great experience. Had alot of fun and lots to learn.

One of the best tours of a 14 day visit!
Our experience honestly couldn’t have been better! Omer guided us through Topkapi Palace, the Harem, the Eunuch’s quarters, and Hagia Irene. As history buffs, we were completely drawn in by how much he knew and the way he shared it. He didn’t just list facts, he told stories, added context and details, and made everything so much more interesting. His sense of humor and easygoing personality made the whole tour even more enjoyable. We could tell Omer is someone who genuinely loves what he does. We loved everything about Topkapi Palace and felt this tour was worth every penny.

Fun and informative
This was my second tour with Omer. We had such a good time on our first tour that I was happy to book another with him a couple days later. He does a great job leading the group and answer all of your questions. It was well worth it.

Beautiful palace!!
This was my first time visiting Topkapi palace. I had been to Istanbul 6 times and have always wanted to see this place. Our guide Omer was very knowledgeable and an amazing guide! Thank you for showing us this beautiful palace!
