Splendidi paesaggi, le Grandi Alpi del Sud si estendono con un'acqua turchese dei fiumi carsici che scorrono da loro, campi rocciosi pieni di frutta e verdura mediterranea, sole e pietre, erbe aromatiche, vini unici, la calda accoglienza tradizionale della popolazione locale - tutto questo è in attesa di essere scoperto.

La città è uno dei più antichi insediamenti permanenti in Bosnia-Erzegovina, risalente a circa 4000 anni fa; la città nella sua attuale incarnazione nata come importante città nel tardo XIV secolo.
Mostar è situata sul fiume Neretva ed è la terza città più grande del paese. Mostar prende il nome dai guardiani del ponte (mostari) che nel medioevo custodivano lo Stari Most (Ponte Vecchio) sulla Neretva. Il Ponte Vecchio, costruito dagli ottomani nel XVI secolo, è uno dei monumenti più visitati della Bosnia ed Erzegovina ed è considerato un pezzo esemplare dell'architettura islamica nei Balcani.
Blagaj Tekija è un monastero dei Dervisci al di fuori di Mostar, in Bosnia, che ha quasi 600 anni. Situato alla base di una scogliera, vicino alla sorgente del fiume Buna, è una serie unica e pittoresca di edifici che sembra ancora meglio di persona che in foto.
Questo insediamento unico, elencato come sito patrimonio dell'UNESCO e recente ricostruzione ha restituito la città alla sua forma originale. Fu menzionato per la prima volta nel 1444 ma alcuni documenti mostrano che fu costruito alla fine del XIV secolo per ordine del re bosniaco Tvrtko. Oltre alla splendida architettura orientale e all'atmosfera ottomana, Pocitelj ospita la più lunga colonia artistica attiva nel sud-est dell'Europa.
Le cascate di Kravice, originariamente conosciute come cascate di Kravica, sono uno dei siti naturali più belli della regione dell'Erzegovina, in Bosnia ed Erzegovina. Situato sul fiume Trebižat, precipita a cascata su un deposito di calcare tufaceo particolarmente grande e sul lago sottostante. L'intera area è protetta dal governo dello stato, ma è aperta al pubblico locale e ai turisti per visite, pic-nic, campeggio e persino nuoto. L'intera area è piena di verde con alberi casti, pioppi e fichi tutt'attorno. Anche le formazioni di tufo sono verdi con fitti licheni, muschio ed erba dappertutto. Ci sono pochissime formazioni artificiali vicino alle cascate che interferiscono con l'ambiente naturale completo della posizione.

Mak was a great tour guide - a local to Sarajevo his personal experiences helped us to really understand the complicated history. Arts and Tours was accommodating to our need to shorten the tour and Mak still helped us see the highlights of Herzegovina without making anything feel rushed! I would recommend any tour to get to know both Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It was a really lovely day and the tour guide, Adis, was very knowledgable about the history of Bosnia. Each part of the trip was beautiful and even though you visit many places, you have the time to take in the beauty. The Blagaj Tekke was definitely a highlight. Adis would check in regularly asking if we needed more time in any place or if there was anything we needed. Would definitely recommend.
Adis was an amazing tour guide who made that day our favourite on the trip. It was full of laughter, happiness and knowledge so would definitely recommend him to anyone who is coming to Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was very well educated and passionate on the history of Bosnia and was able to answer all of our questions.
We booked this private tour, our tour guide was Muki. We had a fantastic day trip seeing all the sights. Muki was excellent and shared so much history and knowledge about Bosnia - he was very friendly and helpful. Mostar was amazing as were the waterfalls and the other stops along the way. Would highly recommend! ⭐️👍
We had our tour with Muki. He was a great tour guide and very patient and flexible. Mostar your was incredible and well worth it. Only thing to note is that Mostar is atleast 10 degrees hotter than sarajevo. We went at the height of summer where it was 40 degrees. Other than that everything was wonderful and would recommend!
We did the full day Mostar tour with Mak and what an amazing experience. First of all it’s a small group and hence you don’t waste time. Then Mak knows exactly how to beat the traffic and the crowd, took some amazing photos, gave us so much information about the history and crowned our experience with a delicious traditional roast lamb lunch on a table with a superb view of the river valley. We also had the freshest pomegranate juice and dried fruit in Pocitelj. Thank you Mak for sharing your beautiful country with us.

My and my daughter had 2 tours with Bakir Becirbegovic and we were really well taken care of. The tours were very informative and in between the stops we had a lot of engaging and interesting conversations about all kinds of subjects. We learned a lot! Bakir Becirbegovic is a very openminded and not stuck in past grievances and with people like him there is actually some hope for this very complicated country. I recommend any visitor to Sarajevo to use Art & Tours for guidance. It's absolutely worth it.
